Zhou Long is a Chinese composer of contemporary classical music. Zhou lived for many years in New York City. He studied composition with Chou Wen-chung and Mario Davidovsky at Columbia University, earning his DMA in 1993. He is the Music Director of the New York-based Music from China Ensemble. His wife is the composer Chen Yi. As of 2006, both Zhou and Chen are professors of composition at the University of Missouri–Kansas City Conservatory of Music. Wikipedia
