About Spock
Spock is the first editable search engine for finding people on the web. We want to:
Help you find people on the web. Whether its celebrities, friends, or interesting people you'd like to meet, Spock finds them. We use a combination of search engine technologies and user edits to aggregate the world's people information and make it searchable. Spock finds all kinds of information like websites, photos, videos, and blogs about people. Go ahead and search for someone, you might be surprised at what you'll find.
Help you stay up to date on people you care about. There are lots of people you want to keep track of. Spock makes it easy to save a collection of people so you can quickly get updates each time you visit. If checking in isn't your thing, just subscribe to an email alert, an RSS feed, or even access information through your favorite social network.
Create a community where users share what they know about people. Unlike traditional search, people search requires more than technology, it requires human input. On Spock, interesting and relevant information about people is added everyday by our users. This isn't just another new search engine, it's a project that involves every person in the world.
