Heloísa Pinheiro

  • female

Heloísa Pinheiro ("née" Heloísa Eneida Menezes Paes Pinto, now known as Helô Pinheiro, born 1945) according to popular myth was the real-life "Girl from Ipanema", a "carioca" whose strolls through the fashionable Ipanema district of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil inspired the song "Girl from Ipanema" (originally titled, in Portuguese, "A Garota de Ipanema".) This however is not true, it was originally written for a musical comedy.
