Ivan Reitman is a Slovakian-born, Canadian-raised jewish film actor, producer, and director. He is most remembered for directing and producing a string of comedies, mostly in the 1980s and 1990s. Reitman worked on a number of films after graduating from McMaster University in Hamilton, Ontario.
