    Benjamin Sinclair "Ben" Johnson CM (born December 30, 1961) is a former Canadian sprinter who enjoyed a high-profile career during most of the 1980s, winning two Olympic Bronze medals, and an Olympic Gold which was subsequently rescinded. He set consecutive 100 m world records at the 1987 World Championships in Athletics and the 1988 Summer Olympics, but he was disqualified for doping, losing the Olympic title and both records.

  14. Tom Burke

    Thomas Edward Burke (January 15, 1875 - February 14, 1929) was an American athlete. He was the first Olympic champion in the 100 and 400 metres races. Burke, a student at Boston University, was a reputed runner in the 400 metres and 440 yards, having won the AAU title (440 yards) in 1895. He had no such reputation for the first event he entered in the inaugural modern Olympic Games in Athens, 1896. With many top sprinters absent, Burke surprisingly won the 100 metres.

    Robert S. Garrett (May 24, 1875 - April 25, 1961) was an American athlete. He was the first modern Olympic champion in discus throw and shot put. Born in Baltimore County, Maryland, Garrett came from a wealthy family and studied in Princeton University. He excelled in track and field athletics as an undergraduate, and was captain of the Princeton track team in both his junior and senior years.

  18. Harry Aikines-Aryeetey

    Harry Aikines-Aryeetey, (born August 29 1988), is an English sprint athlete. In 2005 he was named as the BBC Sports Personality of the Year Young Personality and the IAAF's Rising Star of the Year after becoming the first athlete to win gold medals at both 100 m and 200 m at the World Youth Championships. Aikines-Aryeetey was born in London to Ghanaian parents and competes for the Sutton and District club.

    Nico Motchebon (born November 11, 1969 in Berlin) is a Germany 800 m runner. His personal best of 1:43.91s was set on July 31, 1996 in the 800 m final at the 1996 Summer Olympics in Atlanta, Georgia, where he finished fifth. Motchebon won bronze medals at the 1993 and 1999 IAAF World Indoor Championships. He also set a temporary European indoor record over 800 m in 1995. His 600m indoor personal best still stands as the indoor 600m world record.

    Kaltouma Nadjina (born November 16, 1976) is a Chadian athlete. Born in Bol by a modest family, her sportif career began when she participated in 1993 at Moundou to the National Sport Week. Her victory in the 400 metres opened her the road to the selection for the 1994 World Junior Championships in Athletics held in Lisbon. In February 1997, with the help of a grant obtained by the International Olympic Committee, she left Chad for the United States.

    Christiaan David (Chris) Berger (Amsterdam, Apr 27 1911 - Amsterdam, Sep 12 1965) was a Dutch athlete competing in the sprints. Berger's career highlight was at the first European Championships in Athletics, held in 1934 in Turin. There he won both the 100 m and 200 m sprints and came in third with the Dutch team at the 4 x 100 metres relay.

    Abiodun Oyepitan (born December 30, 1979) is a British sprint athlete. Abi was born in Westminster, London and represents Shaftsbury Barnet Harriers athletics club. Her first outing to a major athletics came at the 1998 World Junior Athletics Championships where she finished fourth as part of the British 4 x 100 m relay team. She continued to perform well at the junior level, but her progress was interrupted in 2000 by an injury.

Saka participated at the 2005 Mediterranean Games in Almería, Spain in the categories 4x100 m relay, 400 m and 4x400 m relay. She ran bronze medal in the 4x400 m relay in 3:40.75’ with her teammates Birsen Bekgöz, Özge Gürler and Binnaz Uslu.

  24. Grace-Ann Dinkins

    Grace-Ann Dinkins (born 13 September 1966), also known as Gracie-Ann Dinkins or Grace Dinkins, is an Olympic-class track and field athlete from the USA who competes for Liberia, her parents' home country, in the 100 m, 200 m, and 400 m races. Over her competitive career, she became the record-holder for those distances in Liberia. Dinkins competed at the 1996 Summer Olympics for Liberia in the 100 m race, but did not advance to the finals.
