- Maurice Wignall
Maurice Wignall (born April 17, 1976) is a Jamaican hurdling athlete. His first appearance in a major international championship was at the 1997 World Championships, where he competed in the long jump competition without reaching the final. He jumped 8.09, which still stands as his personal best. Wignall's success in hurdling came relatively late. He took his first medal, a bronze medal, at the 2002 Commonwealth Games.

Shi Dongpeng (born 6 January 1984 in Hebei) is a Chinese hurdler who specializes in the 110 metres hurdles. He won a silver medal at the 2002 World Junior Championships in Kingston, finished sixth at the 2003 World Championships in Paris and won a silver medal at the 2006 Asian Games in Doha. At the Asian Championships he won a gold in 2003 and silver in 2005. His personal best time is 13.29 seconds, achieved in June 2005 in Shijiazhuang.

Kyle Vander Kuyp (born 30 May, 1971 in Paddington) is an indigenous Australian athlete of the Wurundjeri tribe. At 5 weeks of age, he was adopted by Pat and Ben Vander-Kuyp. Kyle bettered the Oceanian record in the 110 metres hurdles to 13.29 seconds at the 1995 World Championships in Athletics. In addition he has competed at the 1996 and 2000 Olympic Games, as well as the 1994 and 1998 Commonwealth Games.

Bramlett was born in Frankfurt am Main, Germany, to Ronald and Lurlyn Bramlett. He graduated from Northeast High School in Clarksville, Tennessee in 1997. He was recruited by Middle Tennessee State University as a 110 m hurdler.

At the 2003 World Championships he first achieved a lifetime best of 13.26 seconds in the first round. He eventually reached the final, but was disqualified for modafinil doping. He had previously competed at the 2005 World Championships and the 2006 European Championships, as well as numerous European Indoor (2002, 2005) and World Indoor Championships (2003, 2004, 2006), without ever reaching the final.

Frank Busemann (born February 26, 1975 in Recklinghausen) is a former German decathlete. Busemann started his career as a 110 m hurdler and was junior world champion in this discipline in 1994. After his surprising silver medal at the 1996 Summer Olympics with his personal best of 8706 points he became one of Germany's most popular sportsmen. He also was elected "German Sportsmen of the Year". At the World Championships of the following year Busemann became third.

Ionut Punga (born 14 October 1979) is a retired Romanian triple jumper. Originally a hurdler, he holds the European age record for the age of 15 with 14.73 over 110 metres hurdles. He later switched to triple jump and won the 1998 World Junior Championships with a jump of 16.94 metres, only 10 centimetres behind the championship record set by Yoelbi Quesada in 1994. The next year Punga finished 5th at the World Indoor Championships.
