- Gu Yuan
Gu Yuan (born 9 May 1982) is a Chinese hammer thrower. She won the 2002 IAAF World Cup in Madrid, finished fourth at the 2003 World Championships in Paris and tenth at the 2004 Olympics in Athens. At the Asian Games she won a gold medal in 2002 and a silver in 2006. At the Asian Championships she won gold medals in 1998, 2002 and 2003 and a silver in 2005. Her personal best throw is 72.36 metres, achieved in July 2004 in Padova.
- Felipe Vivancos
Felipe Vivancos (born 16 June 1980 on Ibiza) is a Spanish hurdler. He finished fifth at the 2002 IAAF World Cup and won the silver medal in 60 metres hurdles at the 2005 European Indoor Championships. He also competed at the World Championships in 2001 and 2005 as well as the 2004 Olympic Games without reaching the final round. His personal best time is 13.41 seconds, achieved in July 2006 in Zaragoza.
- Fernando Augustin
Fernando Augustin (born April 25, 1980) is a Mauritian sprinter who specializes in the 400 metres. In 2002 he finished fifth at the 2002 African Championships, and was selected to represent Africa in 4 x 400 metres relay at the 2002 IAAF World Cup. The African team, with Adem Hecini, Sofiane Labidi, Fernando Augustin and countryfellow Eric Milazar, won the bronze medal. His personal best time is 46.04 seconds, achieved in March 2002 in Bamako.
- Mary Sauer
Mary Sauer (born 31 October 1975 in Green Bay, Wisconsin) is an American pole vaulter. She finished twelfth at the 2001 World Championships in Edmonton, seventh at the 2002 IAAF World Cup in Madrid and tenth at the 2003 World Championships in Paris. Her personal best jump is 4.65 metres, achieved in July 2002 in Madrid.
- Adem Hecini
Adem Hecini (born 13 December 1975) is an Algerian athlete who specializes in the 400 and 800 metres. In the 800 metres he won the silver medal at the 1996 African Championships, and the gold medal at the 2001 Mediterranean Games. He also competed at three World Championships (1997, 1999 and 2001) as well as the Olympic Games in 1996 and 2000 without reaching the final round. His personal best time is 1:44.59 minutes, achieved in August 1997 in Zürich.
- Ian Weakley
Ian Weakley (born 24 February 1974) is a Jamaican hurdler. He finished eighth at the 1994 Commonwealth Games, won the silver medal at the 2002 Commonwealth Games, finished fifth at the 2002 World Cup and eighth at the 2005 World Athletics Final. His personal best time is 48.55 seconds, achieved in June 2003 in Trikala.
- Jens Dautzenberg
Jens Dautzenberg (born 24 May 1974) is a German sprinter who specializes in the 400 metres. He competed on the German 4 x 400 metres relay team in two editions of the IAAF World Cup. In 1998 he finished fifth with teammates Klaus Ehmsperger, Marc Alexander Scheer and Nils Schumann and in 2002 he finished sixth with teammates Ingo Schultz, Ruwen Faller and Lars Figura. His personal best time is 46.19 seconds, achieved in July 2002 in Wattenscheid.

Brianna Glenn (born 18 April 1980) is an American long jumper. She finished ninth at the 2002 World Cup and seventh at the 2006 World Athletics Final Her personal best jump is 6.68 metres, achieved in June 2005 in Carson.
- Tatyana Efimenko
Tatyana Efimenko (born 2 January 1981 in Bishkek) is a Kyrgyz high jumper. She won the bronze medal at the 1998 World Junior Championships and finished fifth at the 2002 IAAF World Cup. She competed at the World Championships in 1999 and 2005 without reaching the finals there. At the Olympic Games she exited in the qualifying round in 2000 and 2004, failing to clear the opening height in the former.
- Alice Matejková
Alice Matejková is a Spanish discus thrower. She formerly represented her birth country of the Czech Republic. She finished seventh at the 1986 World Junior Championships and eighth at the 2002 IAAF World Cup. She competed at the World Championships in 1991, 1993 and 1997 as well as the Olympic Games in 1996, 2000 and 2004 without reaching the final. Her personal best throw is 62.66 metres, achieved in June 1997 in Kladno.
- Andreas Pohle
Andreas Pohle (born 6 April 1981 in Erfurt) is a German long jumper and triple jumper. In the long jump he finished eleventh at the 2002 European Championships and ninth at the 2002 IAAF World Cup. His personal best jump is 7.97 metres, achieved in June 2002 in Bad Langensalza. In the triple jump he competed at the 2004 Olympic Games and the 2007 European Indoor Championships without reaching the finals.
- Beatriz Santiago
Beatriz Santiago (born 28 October 1968 in Neully, France) is a Spanish long-distance runner. She finished sixth in the 3000 metres at the 2002 IAAF World Cup and eighteenth in the long race at the 2003 World Cross Country Championships.
- Firmon Ghirmai
Firmon Ghirmai (born 25 January 1979) is a retired German runner who specialized in the 3000 metres steeplechase. He finished twelfth at the 1998 World Junior Championships and seventh at the 2002 IAAF World Cup. He also competed at the 2002 European Championships and the 2003 World Championships without reaching the finals. His personal best time is 8:20.50 minutes, achieved in June 2003 in Luzern. Ghirmai became German steeplechase champion in 2002, 2004 and 2005.
- Holger Blume
Holger Blume is a German sprinter who specializes in the 100 metres. He is the twin brother of Marc Blume. Both represent the sports club TV Wattenscheid. Holger Blume finished seventh in 4 x 100 metres relay at the 1998 IAAF World Cup, with teammates Patrick Schneider, Manuel Milde and Marc Blume. He also participated in this event at the 1996 Olympic Games, the 1999 World Championships and the 2002 IAAF World Cup without reaching the final.
- Christian Schacht
Christian Schacht (born 24 June 1976) is a retired German sprinter who specializes in the 100 metres. Schacht won a bronze medal in 4 x 100 metres relay at the 2002 European Championships, with teammates Ronny Ostwald, Marc Blume and Alexander Kosenkow. The team originally finished fourth, but was promoted to third place after performances by Dwain Chambers were disqualified by the IAAF since Chambers admitted the use of performance enhancing drugs.
