  8. Tiago Splitter

    Tiago Splitter Beirns is a Brazilian-Spanish professional basketball player who currently plays in the Spanish ACB with TAU Cerámica. The 6'11" power forward was expected to declare for the 2006 NBA Draft, but as the expensive buyout of his contract discouraged teams with high picks, he remained in Spain for that season. Splitter was automatically eligible for the 2007 NBA Draft, as he was at least 22 years of age at the time of the draft.

    Fran Crippen (born April 17, 1984 in Bryn Mawr, Pennsylvania) is a freestyle swimmer from the United States, who won two individual silver medals at the 2003 Pan American Games in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic. He did so in the 400 and 1500m freestyle. His sister, Maddy Crippen, was a 2000 Olympian in the 400 individual medley and swam for Villanova University.   10. Kathleen Stoody

    Kathleen Stoody (born March 15, 1982 in North Vancouver, British Columbia) is a breaststroke swimmer from Canada, who won two medals (silver and bronze) at the 2003 Pan American Games in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic. Stoody has been swimming since the age of ten. Her "genuine enjoyment" for the sport has earned her the 2004 Simon Fraser University Athlete of the Year Award, the 2004 North Shore Athlete of the year Award and the 2004 NAIA Swimmer of the Year Award.

  11. Anderson Varejão

    Anderson França Varejão is a Brazilian professional basketball player, who plays in the NBA for the Cleveland Cavaliers. He won the gold medal with the Brazil national basketball team at the 2003 Pan American Games. Varejão was selected by the Orlando Magic in the second round of the 2004 NBA Draft (30th overall) and traded to the Cleveland Cavaliers along with Drew Gooden and Steven Hunter in exchange for Tony Battie and two future second-round picks on July 23, 2004.

    Helen Nichol (born 18 February 1981 in Burlington, Ontario) is a female badminton player from Canada, who won the gold medal in the women's doubles competition at the 2003 Pan American Games, partnering Charmaine Reid.
