- Jan Svěrák
Jan Svěrák is the most successful Czech film director since the Velvet Revolution in 1989. He is the son of the prominent screenwriter and actor Zdeněk Svěrák. He studied documentary filmmaking at the Academy of Performing Arts in Prague. He and his films have received dozens of awards, including the Academy Award, Crystal Globe, Golden Globe, and Tokyo Grand Prix. He currently lives in Prague.

- Jiří Bělohlávek
Jiří Bělohlávek is a Czech conductor. He studied with Sergiu Celibidache. Bělohlávek is a graduate of the Prague Conservatory and Academy of Performing Arts in Prague. He won the 1970 Czech National Conducting Competition before progressing through national and international conducting roles. Previously Bělohlávek has been chief conductor of the Prague Symphony Orchestra (1977-1989). He became principal conductor of the Czech Philharmonic Orchestra in 1990.

Ivan Trojan is a Czech actor. He graduated from the Theatre Faculty of the Academy of Performing Arts in Prague in 1988 and "Realistické divadlo Zdeňka Nejedlého" (RDZN) in Prague-Smíchov. In 1992 he moved to Divadlo na Vinohradech (DNV). In 1997 he decided to move to a newly established "Dejvické divadlo" (DD). He is son of actor Ladislav Trojan and brother of producer and director Ondřej Trojan.

He was raised by his grandparents in Niš, following the divorce of his parents, and 14 years later returned to Belgrade where he worked in his stepfather's cinema. Ladislav Smoček is a Czech playwright and theater director. After studying at a secondary school in Plzeň he graduated from the Theatre Faculty of the Academy of Performing Arts in Prague (DAMU) in 1956.
