I grip for a living. What does that mean? Hard to explain. You could call me a lighting technician. But I don't actually touch anything with electricity running through it. I give the light certain shape and quality. Vague I know. Other duties, much simpler to explain, include camera movement (dollies, jibs, cranes), rigging and onset safety. That last brings chills to some. When not working my favorite activity is travel.
