  1. Dale Earnhardt

    Ralph Dale Earnhardt, Sr. (April 29, 1951 - February 18, 2001) was a race car driver. Best known for his career driving stock cars in NASCAR's top division. Earnhardt had four children, Kerry, Kelley Elledge Earnhardt, Dale Jr., and Taylor Earnhardt. His widow, Teresa Earnhardt (whom he married in 1982) is the owner of Dale Earnhardt, Inc., the race team and merchandising corporation Earnhardt founded with her in February of 1980.

    Russell William "Rusty" Wallace (born August 14, 1956 in Fenton, Missouri) is a former NASCAR champion, NASCAR Busch Series car owner, and television broadcaster with ESPN and ESPN on ABC. Wallace had his first live broadcast of the Indy 500 on May 28, 2006. Wallace appeared in the 1990 film Days of Thunder.

  6. Jimmie Johnson

    James Kenneth Johnson (born September 17, 1975, El Cajon, California) is a current NASCAR NEXTEL Cup race car driver who drives the #48 Lowe's Chevrolet Monte Carlo SS and Chevrolet Impala SS owned by his teammate Jeff Gordon and operated by Rick Hendrick's Hendrick Motorsports. In his rookie year he became the first rookie in the Cup series to sweep both races at a track when he won both races at Dover International Speedway.

  8. Johnny Sauter

    Johnny Sauter (born May 1, 1978, in Necedah, Wisconsin) is a NASCAR Busch Series driver from Milwaukee, Wisconsin. He drives the #70 Yellow Transportation Chevrolet in the NASCAR Nextel cup series. Sauter was the 2001 American Speed Association champion. Sauter, along with co-driver Kevin Harvick, won the 2003 Owner's NASCAR Busch Series Championship. Sauter drove both the #21 PayDay Chevrolet for Richard Childress and the #43 Channellock Chevrolet and Dodge for Mike Curb.

    Johnny Benson (born June 27, 1963 in Grand Rapids, Michigan) is a NASCAR driver and the son of former Michigan modified driver John Benson Sr. His career highlighs include 1993 American Speed Association AC-Delco Challenge series championship in 1993, The 1995 Busch Series championship, and The 1996 Winston Cup NASCAR Rookie of the Year award.

  10. Michael Waltrip

    Michael Curtis Waltrip (born April 30, 1963 in Owensboro, Kentucky) is a professional race car driver and owner of Michael Waltrip Racing. He is the younger brother of Darrell Waltrip, a three-time NASCAR champion (now retired). Waltrip is a two-time winner of the Daytona 500 (2001 & 2003), and drives a self-owned #55 NAPA Toyota Camry in the NEXTEL Cup Series.

  11. Kyle Busch

    Kyle Thomas Busch (born May 2, 1985 in Las Vegas, Nevada) is an American race car driver. Currently, he drives the #5 Kellogg's/CARQUEST Chevrolet for Hendrick Motorsports in the NASCAR NEXTEL Cup Series as well as the #5 Chevrolet in the NASCAR Busch Series. He grew up racing at The Bullring at Las Vegas Motor Speedway. He is often nicknamed Shrub, since he is the younger brother of NASCAR driver Kurt Busch and a small bush is called a shrub.

  12. Alan Kulwicki

    Alan Dennis Kulwicki (December 14, 1954 - April 1, 1993) was an American NASCAR championship racer. He drove the #7 Ford Thunderbird, first sponsored by Zerex antifreeze and later by Hooters. His first sponsor was Quincy's Steakhouse, and the car number was 35. He was nicknamed "Special K". He won the 1992 Winston Cup Champion and the 1986 NASCAR Rookie of the Year.

  13. Terry Labonte

    Terrance Lee Labonte (born November 16, 1956, in Corpus Christi, Texas) is a former NASCAR driver. Labonte was introduced to the sport through his father, who had worked on racecars as a hobby for his friends. He is the older brother of 2000 NASCAR/Winston Cup champion Bobby Labonte, and the father of Busch Series driver Justin Labonte. He appeared in the 1983 Burt Reynolds movie Stroker Ace

  15. Chris Wimmer

    Chris Wimmer (born June 23, 1979 in Wausau, Wisconsin) is a NASCAR Busch Series driver. He is currently unemployed. Chris is the younger brother of NEXTEL Cup driver Scott Wimmer. He began his racing career in high school, racing pure stocks. Later, he moved over to late models. Participating in 149 races, Chris won 17 times and had 53 top five finishes. In 2001, he moved up to the American Speed Association (ASA), competing in more than 50 events over the next three years.

  16. Jimmy Spencer

    Jimmy Spencer (born February 15, 1957 in Berwick, Pennsylvania) is an American NASCAR driver and commentator. During his days racing modifieds, he was nicknamed "Mr. Excitement" for his sometimes aggressive racing style. Spencer is currently a co-host with John Roberts and Kenny Wallace on the Speed Channel's prerace and postrace NASCAR shows "NASCAR RaceDay" and "NASCAR Victory Lane".

  17. Kenny Wallace

    Kenny Wallace (born August 23, 1963) is a NASCAR Nextel Cup Series and Busch Series driver who currently drives the #78 Furniture Row Racing Chevrolet in Nextel Cup. He also works as an on-air personality for SPEED Channel, on shows such as NASCAR RaceDay and NASCAR Victory Lane. He was also featured on the show NASCAR Drivers: 360 on FX. He has two brothers who are also NASCAR drivers: Rusty Wallace and Mike Wallace, and a nephew Steve Wallace.

  18. Kyle Petty

    Kyle Eugene Petty (Born June 2, 1960 in Randleman, North Carolina) is an American NASCAR driver, the son and grandson of racing legends Richard Petty and Lee Petty, respectively. He drives the #45 Marathon Petroleum Company Dodge Charger for Petty Enterprises. The Marathon Petroleum Company announced the sponsorship on August 8, 2006. Marathon will remain the Sponsor through the 2008 season. Petty originally did not intend to become a race car driver.

    David Carl "Davey" Allison (February 25, 1961 - July 13, 1993) was a NASCAR race car driver, best known as the driver of the Robert Yates Racing #28 Texaco-Havoline Ford. Born in Hollywood, Florida, he was the eldest of four children born to NASCAR driver Bobby Allison and wife Judy. The family moved to Hueytown, Alabama and along with Bobby's brother Donnie Allison, family friend Red Farmer, and Neil Bonnett, became known in racing circles as the Alabama Gang.

    Tim Sauter (born October 13, 1964, in Necedah, Wisconsin) is an American race car driver. He has competed in the American Speed Association, the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series, the NASCAR Busch Series, and the NASCAR Winston Cup Series. He is the son of Jim Sauter, and the brother of NASCAR drivers Jay and Johnny Sauter. Sauter made his NASCAR debut in 2000, at Memphis. Driving the #61 Stoops Freightliner car for Xpress Motorsports, he finished 29th.

  27. Joey Clanton

    Joey Clanton (born in Tyrone, Georgia on November 1, 1972), is an American race car driver and businessman. He was the 2002 champion in the now-defunct American Speed Association stock car series. Recently, he purchased two Zaxby's franchises and will compete in the Craftsman Truck Series under their sponsorship for Wood Brothers/JTG Racing for a maximum of sixteen races. In 2003, he ran 18 races in the Busch Series for Brewco Motorsports, scoring 1 top five.

  28. Ted Musgrave

    Ted Musgrave was born on December 18, 1955 in Waukegan, Illinois. He drives the #9 Team ASE Toyota in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series for Germain Racing.

  29. Dave Marcis

    Dave Marcis (born March 1, 1941), Wausau, Wisconsin) was a driver on the NASCAR Winston Cup (now known as the NASCAR Nextel Cup) circuit from 1968 until 2002. Marcis won five times over this tenure, twice at Richmond, including his final win in 1982. Dave was most famous for two things: racing for his own team and racing while wearing wingtip shoes to absorb the heat in the car. He made the Daytona 500 every year from 1968 until 1999.

  30. Dick Trickle

    Dick Trickle (born October 27, 1941 in Wisconsin Rapids, Wisconsin) is an auto racer. He raced for decades around the short tracks of Wisconsin, winning many championships along the way. Trickle has competed in the ASA, ARTGO, ARCA, All Pro, IMCA, NASCAR, Hooters Pro Cup, USAC and the CWRA. In more than 2,200 races Trickle has logged one million laps and legends has it that he has won over 1,200 features, although no one has been able to verify this win total.

  31. Larry Foyt

    Larry Foyt is a former NASCAR driver and IRL driver. He is the grandson and adopted son of A. J. Foyt, and the older brother of A. J. Foyt IV. He also drove in the 2004, 2005, and the 2006 Indianapolis 500 for A. J. Foyt Enterprises. Foyt began racing in 1993 in the go-kart ranks, and won his first race two years later. He would win the state championship in his first year in 125cc competition one year later. In 1997, he began running USAC's Formula 2000 series.

  33. Butch Miller

    Butch Miller (born June 5 1952) is a racecar driver from Coopersville, Michigan. He drove the 07 Ditech.com/GMAC Chevrolet at Mansfield in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series. He soon moved to Superstox where he was named both World and European champion. He joined the SCSA-Europe tour in its inaugural year in 2001, where he won the series' first championship.

  37. Rich Bickle

    Rich Bickle (born May 13, 1961 in Edgerton, Wisconsin) is a journeyman NASCAR driver. He is currently unemployed. Bickle, who has never completed a full season in the NASCAR Nextel Cup Series, has a long and prestigious history in short track racing.

  38. Kevin Cywinski

    Kevin Cywinski, born March 16, 1965 in Mosinee, Wisconsin, is a former NASCAR driver. He competed in the Craftsman Truck Series full-time in 1998 and 1999, as well as some races in the Busch Series. After leaving NASCAR, he went back down to the short-track ranks. He won the ASA championship series in 2004. At last report, Cywinski was racing in the ASL series and helping ARCA's Country Joe Racing.

  39. Donnie Allison

    Dunkiny "Donnie" Allison (born September 7, 1939) is a former driver on the NASCAR Grand National/Winston Cup circuit, who won ten times during his racing career, which spanned the 1960s, 1970s and early 1980s. He was part of the "Alabama Gang," and is the brother of 1983 champion Bobby Allison and uncle of Davey Allison. Donnie is possibly most remembered for his involvement in a final-lap crash and subsequent fight with Cale Yarborough at the 1979 Daytona 500.
