1. Nikola Tesla

    Nikola Tesla (10 July 1856 - 7 January 1943) was an inventor, physicist, mechanical engineer and electrical engineer. Born in Smiljan, Croatia, he was an ethnic Serb subject of the Austrian Empire and later became an American citizen. Tesla is best known for his many revolutionary contributions to the discipline of electricity and magnetism in the late 19th and early 20th century.

    Poul Popiel is a retired NHL defenceman, and head coach, born on February 28, 1943 in Søllested, Denmark.. He played in the OHA, AHL, WHA, NHL, CPHL, and IHL. He played a brief 12 games in the IHL with the Muskegon Mohawks, then halfway through the year, he retired and became the head coach. He was the first player along with Garry Peters to win the Ken McKenzie Trophy (In 1963-64.) He weighs 176 lbs, is 5'10 and shoots left. Popiel was in the news briefly in early 2007.

    Rudolph Carl Lambert was an American citizen and head of the California Communist Party Labor Commission and also headed of its security section in the 1940s. Lambert first fell under FBI scrutiny in connection with its Comintern Apparatus investigation. Lambert is named in a 1945 San Francisco KGB cable intercepted and deciphered by the Venona project discussing information about uranium deposits in Western states.

  6. Wolfgang Zuckermann

    Wolfgang Joachim Zuckermann (born 11 October 1922) is a harpsichord maker, author and environmental and social activist. He was born in Berlin, became an American citizen in 1938 and lived in France since 1995. He saw front line action as a Private with the U.S. Army and followed this by obtaining a B.A. in English and Psychology from Queens College, New York, winning the title of Queens College Scholar, the highest honor conferred upon graduates at that institution.

    Eugene Franklin Coleman was an American citizen who allegedly maintained a covert relationship with Soviet Naval Military Intelligence during (Naval GRU) World War II. Coleman was an electrical engineer working in New Jersey for an RCA laboratory that developed devices to assist in radio navigation for high-altitude aerial bombardment. Venona project transcripts indicate that Coleman was an important Soviet agent.

    Yakov Kasman is a Russian classical pianist Professor of Piano and Artist-in-Residence at the University of Alabama at Birmingham. Since his American debut as the silver medalist at the Tenth Van Cliburn International Piano Competition in 1997, Yakov Kasman has performed concerts in the United States, Russia, and Asia, and appeared as soloist with more than forty orchestras. Kasman became an American citizen in 2006.

  13. Louis D. Horvitz

    Louis D. Horvitz was an American citizen who allegedly served Soviet intelligence during World War II. Horvitz, a longtime member of the Communist Party of the United States of America (CPUSA), supposedly worked with Paul Burns and Bernard Schuster, and like Burns, ran a safe house for Soviet covert operatives. Horvitz and Burns were both International Brigades volunteers in the Spanish Civil War.
