At the age of 14, Joe was chosen by the New Mickey Mouse Club to appear in a segment called "What I want to be". At the time Joe wanted to be a Muppeteer, so the MMC flew Joe and his Mom to meet Jim Henson, Steve Whitmire, Dave Goelz, and Richard Hunt on the set of "Muppetvision 3-D". Jim Henson died 5 months later, causing contractual issues with Disney, so the segment never aired.

I went to college in pittsburgh and I couldn't bare to be away from the city after i graduated (its the only place I could actually afford to live), so I moved back five or six years ago and started working here at an audio visual company.
