1. John McFarlane

    John McFarlane is the chief executive of the Australia and New Zealand Banking Group Limited (ANZ), one of Australia's leading banks. The Scottish-born businessman began his career in manufacturing with Ford of Europe in 1969, and subsequently had a long and distinguished career in banking. He spent 18 years with Citibank, ultimately as head of Citibank in the UK and Ireland. In 1993 he became Group Executive Director of Standard Chartered Plc.

  2. Margaret Jackson

    Margaret Jackson is Chairman of FlexiGroup Limited and a director of Australia and New Zealand Banking Group Limited, Billabong International Limited and Florey Neuroscience Institutes. Before beginning her career as a full time company director in 1992, she was a partner of KPMG Peat Marwick's Management Consulting Division. Ms Jackson holds a Bachelor of Economics degree from Monash University and completed an MBA with distinction at Melbourne University.

  3. David Gonski

    Mr. Gonski was appointed Non-Executive Independent Director of ASX on 1 June 2007. He is a member of the Nomination and Remuneration Committee, and following the retirement of Mr Newman, will be appointed Chairman of the ASX Board and the Nomination and Remuneration Committee.
