    Cheri Dunnigan was born and raised outside of Boston. She began to develop her artistic talents at an early age, eventually earning a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree from the Cleveland Institute of Art in 1978. Having majored in silversmithing and jewelry design, she worked for many years as a designer craftsman, maintaining a retail studio in Hopkinton, Massachusetts. In recent years Cheri has turned her talents toward pastel painting.

In school Arnold made up stories to entertain his fellow classmates. Taking out books from the library was one of Arnold's most favorite things to do. Arnold's school was named Pratt Institute. Arnold loved animals and often went to the zoo. He became both an author and an illustrator.
