- Mat McBriar
Mat McBriar (born July 8, 1979 in Melbourne, Australia) is an Australian American football punter for the Dallas Cowboys of the NFL. McBriar began as an Australian rules football player, playing Australian rules for Brighton Grammar School. At one stage, he entered a junior superkick competition, finishing 3rd overall. He later moved to Hawaii, and was signed as an undrafted free agent by NFL's Dallas Cowboys from the University of Hawaii.

Professor Weston Bate OAM (1924-) is an Australian historian specialising in the history of Ballarat, Victoria. Bate was born in 1924. He served in the Royal Australian Air Force during World War II. He studied at the University of Melbourne under Manning Clark, Max Crawford, Kathleen Fitzpatrick and John O'Brien. He taught at Brighton Grammar School, Melbourne Grammar School, Bradfield College (Berkshire), Monash and Melbourne universities.

Sir Stanley Seymour Argyle KBE (4 December 1867-23 November 1940), Australian politician, was the 32nd Premier of Victoria. He was born in Kyneton, Victoria, the son of a grazier, and was educated at Brighton Grammar School and the University of Melbourne, where he graduated in medicine. After further study in the United Kingdom, he went into general practice in Kew (a wealthy Melbourne suburb), and was later a pioneer of radiology in Australia.

John Albert Hay (November 24 1919- January 27 1998) was a British Conservative politician. Hay was born in Brighton, Sussex to John Edward Hay (later a Mayor of Brighton) and May Hollingbury. He had a brother, Peter. He was educated at Brighton Grammar School. He served as a Sub Lieutenant in the Royal Navy during World War II and was invalided out. He married Beryl Found, the only daughter of Ret. Commander Herbert Found R.N and Alice Found.
