    Jason Raymond Bay (born September 20, 1978 in Trail, British Columbia, Canada) is a Canadian baseball player, who plays left field for the Pittsburgh Pirates. He bats and throws right-handed. In his young major league career, Bay has demonstrated well above average power to all fields. He has also shown good discipline at the plate - in 2005, he ranked in the top ten in the National League in walks - although he does also strike out more often than the average hitter.

McBean and her long-time rowing partner Kathleen Heddle were the first Canadians to win three Olympic Gold medals. In addition to her other exploits, McBean won a Silver medal in the prestigious single scull event at the 1993 World Rowing Championships. At the 2000 Sydney Olympics, McBean was set to represent Canada in the single scull and she had hoped to win a fourth gold medal.

    Brent Olynyk (born December 7, 1971 in North Vancouver, British Columbia) is a badminton player from Canada, who won the gold medal in the men's doubles competition at the 1999 Pan American Games alongside Iain Sydie. He also took away silver from that tournament, won in the mixed doubles competition partnering Robbyn Hermitage. A resident of Calgary, Alberta, he represented Canada at the 2000 Summer Olympics.

    Nancy Catherine Greene, born May 11, 1943 in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada, is a champion alpine skier voted as Canada's Female Athlete of the 20th Century. At the age of three, Nancy Greene's family moved to Rossland, British Columbia, a mountainous area and the site of the first ski competition ever held in Canada in 1897. The child of avid skiers, Greene began at a young age and while in high school she competed in the Canadian Junior Championships.
