Belinda Lee (June 15, 1935 - March 12, 1961) was an English actress. Born in Budleigh Salterton, England, Lee was signed to a film contract in 1954 by the Rank Studios after being seen performing as a student of the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art. Often cast in demure roles in her early career, she was able to demonstrate her dramatic abilities, however she found more constant employment when she began to play "sexpot" roles. - R. F. Ronald Frederick Delderfield (February 12, 1912 - June 24, 1972) was a popular English novelist and dramatist, many of whose works have been adapted for television and are still widely read. Born in London, Delderfield moved with his family to Devon in his teens, when his father became editor of the "Exmouth Chronicle", a local newspaper in Exmouth. Paul Cain Vellacott (1891 - 15 November 1954) served as Headmaster of Harrow School and Master of Peterhouse, Cambridge. The son of William Edward Vellacott (a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants who lived at Budleigh Salterton, Devon), he served as Headmaster of Harrow School from 1934 to 1939 and Master of Peterhouse, Cambridge, from 1939 to 1945. Vellacott was awarded the Distinguished Service Order and made a Commander of the British Empire. - Ian
