Snow began his basketball career at Canton McKinley High School, where he played with classmate and former NBA player Michael Hawkins. Snow graduated high school in 1991, and enrolled at Michigan State University.

    Marion Motley (June 5, 1920 - June 27, 1999) was a former American Football fullback who played for the Cleveland Browns and the Pittsburgh Steelers. Motley attended high school at Canton McKinley High School in Canton, Ohio and went to college at South Carolina State University and University of Nevada; after college, Motley joined the United States Navy where he first played for Paul Brown with the Great Lakes Naval Training Station team.

Hawkins, along with classmate and NBA player Eric Snow, played basketball at Canton McKinley High School and graduated from there in 1991. The 6' 0" point guard went undrafted out of Xavier University when he signed with the Boston Celtics in 1997.

    Tyler Everett (born November 4, 1983 in Canton, Ohio) is an American football player who currently plays for the Chicago Bears of the NFL. The former Ohio State Buckeyes safety was signed to the 53 man roster from the practice squad in order to bolster the safety position following injuries to strong safeties Mike Brown and Todd Johnson. If the Bears had won Super Bowl XLI, Everett would have won a championship at the high school, college and professional levels.

She was born in Canton, Ohio on July 9, 1919 to the late Frank and Ida Knouff. Velma graduated from Canton McKinley High School in 1937 and Kent State University with a Bachelor's degree in education. She taught school for 34 years in the Canton City and Stark County School, beginning her career in 1939 in a one room school in eastern Stark County.
