    Leigh "Lethal" Raymond Matthews AM (born January 3, 1952) is a former champion Australian rules football footballer who played for Hawthorn in the Victorian Football League (now Australian Football League) from 1969 to 1985. Since retiring as a player, Matthews has coached at the Collingwood Football Club from 1986 to 1995, and at the Brisbane Lions since 1999, winning premierships at each club.

  11. Doug Wade

    Douglas Graeme Wade (born 16 October 1941) is a former Australian rules footballer who played for the Geelong Football Club and North Melbourne Football Club.   12. Bernie Quinlan

    Bernie Quinlan (born 21 July, 1951), is a former Australian rules footballer and coach, who enjoyed a lengthy career with Footscray and Fitzroy in the VFL. He played 366 league games in total. He was recruited from Traralgon, Victoria as a 17 year old. Debuting for the Bulldogs in 1969, he played 177 games for the club, playing mostly at centre half-forward (also occasionally playing as a centre half-back).

Hudson was prolific in his goal scoring in all senior competitions in which he competed.   18. John Peck

    John Peck (born 7th August 1937 - died 1993) was an Australian rules footballer, who played in the VFL/AFL. John Peck played for Hawthorn from 1954 to 1968. He topped the leading VFL goalkicking in three successive years in 1963-65. He played in the 1961 and 1963 Grand Finals. In a famous incident in 1963, during the Victoria-South Australia match in Adelaide, John Peck felt a kick in his bottom whilst he was lying on the ground.

    Larry Donohue (born April 22, 1955) is a former Australian rules footballer who played for the Geelong Football Club from 1973. He was recruited from the Thomson Football Club. He won the Coleman Medal in 1976 after kicking 99 goals.

    Albert John "The Great" Thurgood (born 11 January 1874 in North Melbourne, died 8 May 1927) was an Australian rules footballer in the Victorian Football League and the Western Australian Football Association. He was no mere footballer but considered a champion of his era. He usually played at centre-half-forward, but his versatility enabled him to be switched to any position on the ground.

  21. Simon Beasley

    Simon Beasley (born July 26, 1956) is a former Australian rules footballer with the Footscray Football Club. Beasley was a prominent full-forward who played 154 games for the Bulldogs, kicking 575 goals. In 1985, he took out the Coleman Medal with 105 goals. Beasley was recruited from Swan Districts in the WAFL in 1982, and moved to Melbourne to pursue his career as a stockbroker. He retired from football in 1989 due to knee and back injuries.

    William D. (Bill) Young (born 6 June, 1931) is a former Australian rules footballer in the VFL. Young was an all-round sportsman - a top goal scorer in country football; a cricketer who once top-scored for a Victorian country team against England and also a cyclist. Young, (Height: 179 cm, Weight: 73 kg) played with St Kilda a full forward kicking 56 goals in his debut year, winning the VFL's Coleman Medal goalkicking award.
