- Matt Nagy
Matt Nagy (born April 24, 1978) is an Arena Football League quarterback for the Columbus Destroyers. He was traded to Columbus during the 2006 offseason from the Georgia Force. Previously, he had seen action with the New York Dragons in 2002 and Carolina Cobras in 2004 before replacing injured Jim Kubiak early in the 2005 season and leading the Force to ArenaBowl XIX.
- John H. McConnell
John H. McConnell is the founder of Worthington Industries, which manufactures processed steel products, pressure cylinders, and metal framing. He is currently the majority owner, chairman, and governor of the Columbus Blue Jackets NHL team. In addition, McConnell is a part of the ownership group of the AFL's Columbus Destroyers. A native of West Virginia, McConnell served in the navy aboard the USS Saratoga during World War II.
- Doug Kay
Doug Kay is an Arena Football League coach for the Columbus Destroyers. In his first season at the helm, Kay guided the Destroyers to their best record in franchise history, while setting a franchise record for road wins in the process. He also guided the club to four home victories, which tied a franchise record. Kay has more than 40 years of football experience including 12 seasons in the Arena Football League.
- John Kaleo
John Kaleo is a former Arena Football League quarterback for the Albany Firebirds (1993), Cleveland Thunderbolts (1994), St. Louis Stampede (1995–96), Anaheim Piranhas (1997), San Jose SaberCats (1997), New England Sea Wolves (1999), Tampa Bay Storm (2000-03, 2007), Austin Wranglers (2004), Los Angeles Avengers (2005), and Columbus Destroyers (2006). He won an ArenaBowl championship with the Storm in 2003. He retired after the 2007 season.
- David Saunders
David Saunders (Born on January 31, 1976, in Toledo, Ohio), is an American football player for the Columbus Destroyers of the Arena Football League as a WR/LB. David Saunders spends the off-season in Tampa, Florida and attended Palatine High School in Palatine, where he played football, basketball and ran track. In college, he was named all-Big East and Gator Bowl MVP in 1997.
- Marcus Knight
Marcus Knight is a former National Football League wide receiver for the Oakland Raiders and a current Arena Football League wide receiver/defensive back for the Columbus Destroyers.
- Kelvin Kinney
Kelvin Kinney (born December 31, 1972 in Montgomery, West Virginia) was an American football defensive end in the NFL for the Washington Redskins. He played college football for Virginia State University. He is now an offensive lineman/defensive lineman for the Columbus Destroyers of the AFL. His nickname is K2.
- Weylan Harding
Weylan Harding is the current head coach of the New York Dragons of the Arena Football League. At the start of the 2005 season, Harding's first year leading the Dragons, he was 33 years old, making him the second youngest head coach in the history of the league. He had previously worked in the Buffalo Destroyers organization starting in 2000. After the Destroyers moved to Columbus, Ohio he became the team's defensive coordinator in 2002 and returned in 2004.

Cecil Doggette is an Arena Football League defensive specialist for the Columbus Destroyers.
- Cornelius White
Cornelius White (Born June 28, 1968) is an Arena Football League wide receiver/linebacker for the Columbus Destroyers.He had previously played for the Albany Firebirds and the now-defunct Carolina Cobras.
- Nick Browder
Nick Browder is an Arena Football League quarterback who played for the Buffalo Destroyers (2000), Grand Rapids Rampage (2001,2003,2005), Detroit Fury (2002), and the Philadelphia Soul (2004) before signing with his 2006 team, the New York Dragons. In 2007, he signed with the Dallas Desperados as the backup to Clint Dolezel. He went to Valparaiso University. He is a member of the Valparaiso University Athletic Hall of Fame.
- Scott Dreisbach
Scott Dreisbach (born December 16, 1975 in South Bend, Indiana) is an American football quarterback who currently plays for the Columbus Destroyers of the Arena Football League. He played quarterback at Penn High School in Mishawaka, Indiana.
- Ken Kocher
Ken Kocher (born in San Diego, California in 1980) is an Arena Football League offensive lineman/defensive lineman for the Columbus Destroyers. Ken was a Parade High School All-American and a standout at UCLA.
- Lavar Glover
Lavar Glover (born December 17, 1978 in Dayton, Ohio) is a defensive back for the BC Lions of the Canadian Football League. He is 5'10", number 27 and weighs 180 lbs. He went to the University of Cincinnati and was drafted by the Pittsburgh Steelers (7th round, 212th overall) in the 2002 NFL Draft. The Steelers released Glover and he was subsequently signed by the Cincinnati Bengals onto their practice squad.
- Miro Kesic
Miro Kesic (born May 17, 1982) was a kicker at Northeastern University. Kesic was never drafted out of college, but did sign with the Columbus Destroyers of the Arena Football League. He was subsequently cut. While he did have a brief training camp stint on the roster of the Atlanta Falcons in the National Football League, Kesic was cut by that team before the 2006 season began. - Adrian Mayes
Adrian Anthony Mayes is on the 2007 Roster of the Toronto Argonauts of the Canadian Football League as a Defensive Halfback. As a linebacker and safety with LSU Tigers football at Louisiana State University from 2000-2003, he played in the National Football League with Arizona Cardinals, in the NFL Europa with Berlin Thunder, and in the Arena Football League with Columbus Destroyers.

Hey! I'm 24 and was born and raised in Louisville. I attended St.X High School and went to college at UofL. At UofL, I played football and majored in Marketing. Big Ups to the Cards on the Big Orange Bowl win! (Unfortunately I never got to play in the Big East, just good ol Conference USA.
