She received her Ph.D. from the School of Business Administration at the University of Miami, Coral Gables, Florida. She was a faculty member for four years at Cornell University's School of Hotel Administration prior to her current position as an Assistant Professor at the Terry College of Business. Her area of expertise is in Organizational Behavior.

    Burt Lyman has worked with the City of Mankato since 1998. Lyman works with Civic Center staff and other city team members bring events to the Mankato area. He oversees the negotiation of suite, signage and sponsorship agreements, books major events and acts as liaison between Civic Center staff and the City. Additionally, he brings his expertise in planning and promoting major public events and family shows to the Mankato’s annual Hickory Street RibFest and air shows.

    Minna Kwon Minna is a first year MBA student at the Yale School of Management concentrating in Finance. A graduate of the School of Hotel Administration at Cornell University , Minna worked for Marriott International for five years prior to attending Yale.

  25. Tom Neuhaus

    Tom Neuhaus Phd: Tom Neuhaus earned a PhD from Cornell University in Food Science in 2000. His dissertation focused on the relationship between mood and food choice. In the 70s, he worked in restaurants in France and a bakery in Vienna, Austria, then established a restaurant/bakery in Austin, Texas. In the 1980s, he wrote a weekly food column for the Washington Post and taught in the School of Hotel Administration at Cornell University.

    Jim has a varied hospitality background, which began in 1970 with a job as Night Auditor, Cook, Waiter and Bartender while attending Cornell University's School of Hotel Administration graduating in 1974. His hospitality career began with club management followed by several food and beverage positions and Assistant General Manager of an oceanfront resort.

Mr. Misra is also a principal of Atira Hotels, a firm offering hotel operations, asset management services and development supervision to the hospitality industry. Prior to joining Paramount Lodging Advisors, Mr. Misra served as the Regional Director for NAI Global Hotels brokerage team.
