- Brian Weatherson
Brian Weatherson is an Associate Professor of Philosophy at Cornell's Sage School of Philosophy. As of January 2008 he will move to Rutgers University. Australian born, he received his PhD from Monash University in 1998, with a dissertation on formal models for reasoning under uncertainty, titled "On Uncertainty." He has held previous appointments at Syracuse and Brown. His areas of expertise are Epistemology, Metaphysics, Philosophy of Language, and Decision Theory.

- Werner Seligmann
Werner Seligmann (March 30, 1930-November 12, 1998), was an architect, urban designer, and educator. He was born on March 30, 1930 in Germany. His father was a violinist from which Werner derived a life long appreciation for music and the arts in general. He, together with his family, spent the latter part of the Second World War in concentration camps from which his mother and sister never returned. After the war he was reunited with his father, in Holland.

Edwin Regur Sweetland (January 10, 1875 - October 21, 1951) was a coach and athletic administrator at several universities, including Syracuse, Ohio State, Colgate, Kentucky, Miami University, West Virginia, Tulane, and Alfred University. During his career he has been head coach of football, basketball, track and field and crew. He is best known for being the first paid coach of the University of Kentucky Wildcats basketball team and founding the Syracuse University Crew.
