- Robert A. Scott
Robert A. Scott is the current president of Adelphi University located in Garden City, New York. He was appointed by the Adelphi University Board of Trustees as the ninth president and professor of anthropology and sociology in July 2000.
- Donaldson Brown
He graduated from Virginia Polytechnic Institute with a Bachelor of Science degree in 1902. He completed a postgraduate course at Cornell University in 1903 by passing the senior electrical engineering course examination. On completion of his college education, he sold electrical machinery for a General Electric interest. He was a salesman of commercial explosives for E. I. du Pont de Nemours & Company for four years, starting in 1909.
- Vertner Tandy
Vertner Woodson Tandy (b. May 17, 1885, d. November 7, 1949) was one of the seven founders ("commonly referred to as The Seven Jewels") of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity at Cornell University in 1906.Before transferring to Cornell, Vertner studied architecture at Tuskegee University. He was the first black registered architect in New York State. He was first treasurer of the Alpha chapter and the designer of the fraternity pin.
