1. David Whyte

    David Whyte (born April 20 1971, Greenwich, England) is a former English footballer. He signed his first professional contract with Crystal Palace in 1989 and moved to Charlton Athletic (on a full time basis) in 1994. He is fondly remembered by Charlton fans, having been the club's top scorer during the 1994/95 season with 19 goals. He is 6 ft 2" and weighs 13 stone 7 lbs and plays at centre-forward, however he has been used as a makeshift centre-back. He was the managing director of Paul and Linda McCartney's MPL Communications, and then of Andrew Lloyd Webber's Really Useful Theatre Company. He was a co-founder of the radio stations Jazz FM and Classic FM. Brolly was born in London. His father, Tom Brolly, was born in Belfast but played football for Millwall FC and Crystal Palace FC, and played four times for Northern Ireland.
