- Kurt Benirschke
Kurt Benirschke (born May 26, 1924) is a German-born American pathologist, geneticist and expert on the placenta and reproduction in humans and myriad mammalian species. Benirschke was raised in a small town in Northern Germany and received his M.D. degree from the University of Hamburg. He immigrated to the United States in 1949. After an internship in New Jersey, he trained in pathology at university hospitals affiliated with Harvard Medical School in Boston.

- Eric Lagasse
Eric Lagasse , Pharm.D. , Ph.D. Dr. Eric Lagasse is an associate professor in the Department of Pathology and the Director of the Cancer Stem Cell Center. In 1985, he received his Diplôme d’Etat de Docteur en Pharmacie from University of Strasbourg, France and in 1989 he completed his Ph.D. in Microbiology from the University of Basel, Switzerland. From 1989 to 1997, Dr. Lagasse was in the Department of Developmental Biology and Pathology, Stanford University.

From 1999 to 2004, Dr. Ward-Cook served as the Executive Director for the American Society for Clinical Pathology’s (ASCP) Board of Registry and Senior Vice President for the ASCP.

Dr. Galvin joined the faculty of Washington University in July 2000. He is Director of the Memory Diagnostic Center and Alzheimer Treatment Unit at Washington University, and serves in the roles of Associate Clinical Core Leader and Director of Education and Community Outreach for the Alzheimer Disease Research Center. Dr Galvin is a member of the Steering Committee for the Alzheimer Disease Cooperative Study.
