Prior to joining BBBS, she was Director of Community Relations for HealthPartners for 10 years. In this role, she was responsible for strategic community partnerships, corporate giving and employee volunteerism. She also chaired the annual HealthPartners Community Giving Campaign.

Johnny Gill Director of Corporate Sales Johnny Gill was born in Albany NY, but raised in Santa Clara, Ca. and is starting his fourth season with the Defenders. Johnny is responsible for the handling of the on field game day promotions, and corporate sales. Before joining the Defenders in April 2004, he served as the GM of the Roswell Aliens, an independent team in the Southwestern League. Johnny is a lifelong SF Giants fan, and season ticket holder.

Elsie Zengel Director of Community Relations Elsie Zengel completed her sixth season as the Curve's Director of Community Relations and her eighth season overall with the Curve in 2007. She is responsible for all of the club's community programs and special events and also serves as an on-field host during games. A Williamsburg native, Elsie first served an internship in the summer of 2000 with the Curve's Group Sales department.

Gerry was elected Chairman of the Fairfax County Board of Supervisors on November 4, 2003. Prior to that, he served nine years as the Providence District Supervisor.
