- Nick Fry
Nick Fry, British, (born 29 June 1956) is the Chief Executive Officer and Team Principal of the Formula One constructor Honda. He also served as the same in British American Racing, replacing Prodrive Automotive Technology chairman David Richards after Honda increased its share in the team in late 2004. Fry achieved his first victory as a manager/chief executive of a Formula 1 team when Jenson Button took the chequered flag at the 2006 Hungarian Grand Prix.

Thomas J. Devine worked for the CIA, and was an oil-wildcatting associate of George H. W. Bush. Devine helped Bush found Zapata Offshore in 1953 and he was an unnofficial foreign affairs advisor to Representative Bush in the 1960s. He accompanied Bush on a trip to Vietnam from 26 December 1967-11 January 1968, for which he was issued an interim top-secret clearance by the US Department of Defense. Devine's friendship and "close relationship" with Bush Sr.

Mary Polak is the former chair of the Surrey School Board in Surrey, British Columbia and is now a Member of the Legislative Assembly of British Columbia (MLA) for the riding of Langley. She tried unsuccessfully to gain a seat in the Legislature as a candidate for the right-of-centre BC Liberal Party, but lost the 2004 Surrey-Panorama Ridge by-election to Jagrup Brar, the New Democratic Party of British Columbia candidate.

Roy J. Plunkett (June 26, 1910 - May 12, 1994) was the chemist who accidentally invented Teflon in 1938. Plunkett was born in Orange County, California. He later moved to New Carlisle, Ohio and then to Pleasant Hill, Ohio where he attended Newton High School. For college, he attended Cal State Fullerton College (BA chemistry 1932) and Ohio State University (Ph.D. chemistry 1936).
