  4. Callum Chambers

    Callum "Cherry" Chambers (born November 19, 1979) is a former Australian rules footballer in the Australian Football League. He was recruited as the number 13 draft pick in the 1997 AFL Draft from Lucknow. Callum made his debut for the West Coast Eagles in Round 10, 2000 against Hawthorn. He was a very skilled and essential player for the club while they were struggling at the bottom of the ladder during the 2001-2002 seasons.

  5. Luke Webster

    Luke Webster (born May 25, 1982) is a midfielder or defender for the Fremantle Dockers in the AFL. He was drafted to Fremantle as the first selection in the 2001 AFL Rookie Draft and was elevated to the senior list during the 2003 season following an outstanding year for East Perth which included being awarded the Simpson Medal as the best player for Western Australia in the state game against South Australia.

    Troy Wilson (born January 19, 1972) is a former Australian rules footballer and speedway driver. Wilson played in the AFL for the West Coast Eagles (2001-2003), and for East Perth (2000-2006) and West Perth (1995-1999) in the WAFL.

  7. Adam Selwood

    Adam Selwood (born 1 May 1984) is an Australian rules footballer who plays for the West Coast Eagles in the AFL. Selwood was recruited from Bendigo Pioneers as the Eagles' third pick, and number 53 overall in the 2002 AFL Draft. In 2003, his debut season, Selwood played two games including the losing elimination final against Adelaide. He played three games in 2004 before osteitis pubis curtailed his season.

  8. Ray O'Connor

    Raymond James O'Connor (born 1926) was the Liberal Party Premier of Western Australia from January 25 1982 until February 25 1983. He was also known as "Rocky". He was born in Perth and attended convent and government schools in the wheatbelt towns of Narrogin and York, and St Patrick's Boys' school in Perth. O'Connor joined the Australian Army and served in the intelligence section of the AIF where his commanding officer was Sir Charles Court.

  10. Ben McKinley

    Ben McKinley (born March 4, 1987) is an Australian rules footballer in the Australian Football League. He was recruited as the number 29 draft pick in the 2005 AFL Draft from Old Ivanhoe/Northern Knights. McKinley is yet to make his debut for the West Coast Eagles but has been playing predominantly as a forward for East Perth in the WAFL. McKinley played his debut game in Round 16 2007. The Eagles lost to Port by 91 points. He scored 1 goal in that game.

During his time at the Eagles he played 16 games for WAFL club East Perth and was a member of their 2000 premiership team.

  14. Michael Christian

    Michael Christian (born August 21, 1964) is a former Australian rules footballer and media personality from Busselton, Western Australia. Christian played 82 games for East Perth in the WAFL from 1981 to 1986 and then crossed to Collingwood in the VFL/AFL to play out his football career. Christian would play full-back for the majority of his career, but was used sparingly as a forward.

  15. Barry Cable

    Barry Cable (born September 22, 1943) is a former Indigenous Australian rules footballer in the (then) West Australian National Football League (WANFL) and Victorian Football League (VFL). A brilliant rover, he was awarded the Sandover Medal as the fairest and best player in the league three times while playing with the Perth Football Club. Cable played 225 games for Perth from 1964-1969 and 1971-1973. He played in 3 successive premierships (1966-1968).

  16. Matt Clape

    Matt Clape (born May 28, 1969) is a former Australian rules footballer who played for Carlton and West Coast. Clape got his first chance at AFL football with the West Coast Eagles as a half back flanker but was delisted after three seasons. He was given a second chance by Carlton when they picked him in the 1995 Pre-Season Draft. In the club's premiership season of 1995, Clape featured prominently.

  17. Michael Prior

    Michael Prior (born 6 September, 1973) is a former Australian rules footballer who played for the AFL's Essendon Football Club and the West Coast Eagles. Drafted 3rd overall in the 1992 AFL Draft, he made the unusual choice at the time to remain with his original club, East Perth, for the 1993 season as he felt that playing regular league football in the WAFL would be better for his development. Kevin Sheedy disagreed with this theory but allowed him to do so.

    David 'Dave' Cuzens is a former Australian rules football player who played in the VFL between 1957 and 1961 for the Richmond Football Club. After leaving Richmond he returned to his home town of Perth where he played for and was senior coach of Subiaco in 1962 and 1963. In 1964 he played for one last season in the WAFL, this time for East Perth.

  23. Kevin Murray

    Kevin 'Bulldog' Murray (born 18 June 1938) was a champion Australian rules footballer who played for the Fitzroy Football Club in the Victorian Football League in 333 games over 18 seasons. Murray played for Fitzroy from 1955 to 1964, and from 1967 to 1974, winning nine best-and-fairest awards for the club. He was playing coach of Fitzroy in 1963, a job he also filled in 1964, along with representing and captaining his home state of Victoria.

Born in Cheltenham, South Australia, Hawke quickly developed as a natural all-round sportsman who excelled in cricket, football and golf and made his senior Australian rules football debut for South Australian National Football League (SANFL) club Port Adelaide in August 1957.

    Ian Perrie (born 9 April, 1979) is an Australian rules footballer in the Australian Football League. After being drafted at pick number 49 in the 1997 AFL Draft, Ian Perrie debuted for Adelaide in Round 13, 1998. While no one questioned his endeavor, Perrie was initially thought to not have the skills required to be a consistent AFL Footballer. In his early years, inaccurate kicking was his most troubled area- he kicked just 24.27 in his first two years.

    Gary Malarkey, (b. May 23, 1953) is a former Australian rules footballer. He began his professional career with East Perth where he played 101 games and was a member of their 1972 premiership team. He was awarded the club fairest and best in 1973. In 1977 he moved to Geelong Football Club in the Victorian Football League. He wore the number 5 during his tenure at the club and was regarded as one of the best full back players in the league.

    Jarrad Oakley-Nicholls (born February 9, 1988) is an indigenous Australian rules football player for the Richmond Football Club. He debuted at the annual "Dreamtime at the 'G" game in 2006, where he scored the winning behind. He played four games in total during his first season, before succumbing to unfortunate groin and shoulder injuries.

    Craig Starcevich (born May 16, 1967) is a former Australian rules footballer in the VFL/AFL and currently a fitness trainer. He was recruited from East Perth, where he won the 1986 F.D. Book Medal for East Perth's best and fairest player. On the back of this, he was recruited to Collingwood in the VFL. Starcevich made his VFL debut in 1987 with the Collingwood Football Club.

  32. Llane Spaanderman

    Llane Spaanderman (born 10 February 1986) is an Australian rules footballer who represents West Coast Eagles on their rookie list. Standing at 198cm and weighing 99.6kg, Spaanderman is a well built player who can play both ruck and up forward. When first recruited, he was described as pacy, strong, a good mark and a clean pick up. As a youngster, he played for Western Australia at the 2003 national titles.

  35. Shane Bond

    Shane Bond (born July 9, 1975) is a former Australian rules footballer in the Australian Football League. Recruited from the old Port Adelaide in the SANFL, Bond debuted with the West Coast Eagles in 1994, going on to play 34 games and kick 20 goals for the club, as well as playing in the 1994 Premiership side. Bond was then traded to Port Adelaide when they joined the AFL in 1997, where he played 57 games for 11 goals between 1997 and 2000.

  36. Andrew Merrington

    Andrew Merrington (born November 27, 1978) is an Australian rules footballer. Recruited to the Carlton Football Club in the 1999 National Draft, Merrington was considered a future key position/ruckman prospect. However he only played 18 games with the Blues until the end of the 2003 season, where he was delisted after spending much time with the Northern Bullants in the VFL rather than the senior Carlton team. After being delisted he was recruited by East Perth in the WAFL.

  37. Peter Spencer

    Peter Spencer is a former Australian Rules Football player, from the East Perth Football Club. He is son of footballer Jim Spencer, a dual Sandover Medalist, winning the award in 1976 and 1984. He is also a triple F.D. Book Medalist (best and fairst at East Perth FC), winning the award in 1975, 1976 and 1984. He played for Western Australia in the 1979 State of Origin match. He played with the West Coast Eagles from 1994-2001, where he played in the 1994 AFL Grand Final. Started playing football at a young age with Bayswater Junior Football Club. Draft picked to play for East Perth Football Club in 1954. Played 166 games as East Perth's full Back from 1954-1962.
