    The Egyptians Adel Mohammed Abdul Almagid Abdel Bary and Ibrahim Hussein Abdel Hadi Eidarous have been in the custody of the United Kingdom since 1999, fighting extradition to the United States, where they are wanted in connection with the 1998 United States embassy bombings. The Saudi Khalid al-Fawwaz was arrested earlier and is in a similar situation. On a return trip from the United States to Egypt via the UK in 1991, Abdel Bary applied for political asylum.

  12. Ali Sayyid Muhamed Mustafa Al-Bakri

    The Egyptian Ali Sayyid Muhamed Mustafa al-Bakri alias Abdul-Aziz al-Masri is a member of "majlis al-shura" (leadership) of the terrorist organization al-Qaeda, and a former member of Egyptian Islamic Jihad, from which he migrated to al-Qaeda along with Ayman al-Zawahiri.     Mohammed Zeki Mahjoub alias Mahmoud Shaker is an Egyptian citizen who entered in Canada in 1995 and gained refugee status in 1996, and was arrested in May of 2000 on a security certificate for alleged ties to three related terrorist organizations: al-Jihad (now called Egyptian Islamic Jihad), Vanguards of Conquest (a short-lived Egyptian group headed by Ayman al-Zawahiri), and al-Qaeda (headed by Osama bin Ladin, of whom Mahjoub is a former employee).

  14. Ibrahim Hussein Abdel Hadi Eidarous

    The Egyptians Ibrahim Hussein Abdel Hadi Eidarous and Adel Abdel Bary have been in the custody of the United Kingdom since 1999, fighting extradition to the United States, where they are wanted in connection with the 1998 United States embassy bombings. In the indictment, Eidarous and Abdel Bary are accused of sending statements to several press organs shortly after the bombings, claiming to represent the people responsible.
