    Method Man (born Clifford Smith, April 1, 1971 in Staten Island, New York) is an American rapper, record producer, actor, and member of the hip hop collective, Wu-Tang Clan. He has appeared in films and TV shows such as "CSI, How High, The Wire, Garden State", and "Soul Plane", among others. He took his stage name from the 1979 film "The Fearless Young Boxer", also known as "Method Man".

    Clarence 13X, born Clarence Jowars Smith (February 22, 1928-June 13, 1969) in Danville, Virginia, is the founder of the Nation of Gods and Earths, and is referred to by members of that group as "Allah" or "The Father". After serving in the Korean War, Clarence joined the Nation of Islam after learning that his wife became a member of the group. He became a member of Temple Number 7 in Harlem, New York, where Malcolm X was a minister.
