If you can't piece it together from reading all of the above, here's a short version: Zen Buddhist, in-house SEO, geek, television addict, gamer, vegetarian.

Id like to think I resemble a somewhat beefier young Ernest Hemingway, or at least what he'd be like if he grew up on a diet of 70's southern suburbia and early 90's Austin-style grunge bohemia.
- Rob Brown
I grew up in Austin, and I moved to LA about 8 years ago. I'm just a laid back guy, who likes to work hard, and have fun while i'm doing it. What you see is what you get. I love my friends, and I am extremely loyal to them. Live it up, because you don't know what tomorrow holds...

Born on the cusp of Cancer and Gemini, my birthday falls on the longest day of the year, which basically means that I am the light of the world and the most indecisive person ever.

Hmmm.... what to say? I mostly wanted to create a little community here in support of all of the terrific musicians and groups out there doing quality work. I do my best to shine some well-deserved light on them at iTunes and am well up for any tips or recommendations. Feel free to drop me a note and be sure to check out my weekly iTunes Indie Spotlights for the pick of the litter.

I like to do a little of everything, you know the whole try anything once thing. I am a big reader but not a book nerd - spiritual but not religious - funny but dorky - confident but hesitant...and for more dumbfounding contradictions IM me (mickelsonn).
- Ruhi
I poke badgers with spoons.

I just sit around all day talking about evolution with my pet monkey. He is mad because I won't get him any sea-monkeys to play with. I won't get him any sea-monkeys to play with because he thinks I am Bigfoot and says that I say a bunch of dumb ass shit all the time.
- Paul Cullum
I live in a tiny, one-room, sparsely furnished cabin in the center of my brain, surrounded by piles and piles and piles of information to process. Sometimes I go over to the window, where small animals gather to be fed, of species I don't believe have names yet.

Work for myself designing websites and software, not-too-original in this town, but it pays the bills and lets me set my own hours. Enjoy finding new restaurants... Delfina, Tartine, Foreign Cinema, Panchita's #3, Zuni, Luna Park, Kiji, and Little Star Pizza are favorites... Avid believer in retail therapy. Closet tivo'er of "Dallas" reruns. Not-so-closet anymore, I guess. Prone to embarrasing myself, though rarely those around me...

Up untill about five months ago I have lived the entirety of my life in central texas. Austin and San Marcos, specifically. Then, while visiting Josh (see photo to left) here in Atlanta I decided to move out here. Why not? I just graduated, was living at home and didn't have a job lined up. So I packed up my Sentra with all of my worldly belongings and Humphrey and drove the 900 and some-odd miles out here.

I live in Austin, Texas (and I love it here), I have a wife named Suzanne and a 3-year-old daughter named Katy and I adore them both. I work about 40 hours co-managing Dragon's Lair in Round Rock, a comics and game shop that is part of a 3-store chain in this part of Texas. The rest of my time is spent watching TV and DVDs, playing videogames, reading comics and did I mention watching TV already?

I got married on January 1, 2005! Did the full-time student, again...and did the "Nanny" thang for $! I graduated in May 2006...yes, folks...1997 - 2006...the longest undergrad career in history...and I have student loans to prove it. Forrest and I are now back home in Austin. I am working at a portrait studio and doing freelance photography. I love to cook and try new red wines...especially Australian wines.

I'm not cool, but at least I admit it. I'm an artist, a writer, a wayward spirit full of laughter, madness and occasionally love. Really I'm quite odd.

Not much to say that hasn't been said before. I immerse myself in life and a sense of adventure in the ordinary. Quirky to a fault, more blunt then polite, more passionate then sensible, and enraptured with the unknown. And I'm the patron saint of faghagdom. :) I have the great fortune (or dumb luck!) of being in love with my best friend, who is probably the only person on the planet who thinks I'm marvelous and not a complete wierdo.
- Hannah
I'm born and raised Austin-true, and I love living here. I study music ed at UT, which is super fun! I'm discovering that life can be really hard, but even the hard times are beautiful. If you let them be. And every experience is precious.

UPDATE (5/21/07): Just returned last week from an awesome 2-week excursion to Serbia, Croatia, Hungary, Austria and Czech. I'll post a few photos soon. Next summer I'm going to Scandinavia and Russia. Can't wait!... To put it plainly, I am a intelligent, worldly and creative guy with a good sense of humor. I grew up as a military brat and, that being so, I have lived most of my life outside of Texas.

I was at Lumos & Phoenix Rising. If you were at PR, you'll probably know me either as (a) the quilt lady or (b) the one passing out all those buttons!
