    Bill Legend (born William Fifield in Barking, Essex, May 8 1944) was the drummer for glam rock band T. Rex during their most successful period. One of three children, Legend worked as a commercial artist after leaving school while playing the drums for a variety of bands. He was drumming under his real name for a group called Legend when Marc Bolan, the man behind the new-found success of T. Rex, spotted him and asked producer Tony Visconti to approach him.

    Ken Bainbridge (born January 15 1921 in Barking, Essex) was an English footballer who played as a winger. Bainbridge played for West Ham United between 1946 and 1949. He scored on nine seconds in a 2-1 win over Barnsley, the quickest recorded goal at Upton Park, in a Second Division game on August 29 1949. Bainbridge played a total of 83 league and cup games for the East London club, scoring 17 goals. He also recorded six war-time goals.
