Harmon Clayton Killebrew is a baseball hall of famer. He was born on June 29, 1936 at Payette, Idaho. One can say that his greatest influence is his father, Harmon Sr. His father is a sports fan who made it through one of the toughest college football teams in his time, the Milliken College. Harmon Sr. also advised all his children to get into sport. Killebrew seemed to have taken the advice of his father seriously because he got into baseball.

Frank Steunenberg (born August 8, 1861 in Keokuk, Iowa - died December 30, 1905 in Caldwell, Idaho) was the fourth Governor of the State of Idaho, serving from 1897 until 1901. He is perhaps best known for his 1905 assassination by one-time union member Harry Orchard, who also admitted to being a paid informant for the Cripple Creek, Colorado, Mine Owners' Association. Orchard attempted to implicate leaders of the radical Western Federation of Miners in the murder.

Otter is the second Roman Catholic to serve as Governor of Idaho.

Wesley Lane Startin (born July 15, 1973 in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho) is an American author and politician. Adopted at the age of three weeks, Startin grew up in Twin Falls, Idaho. He graduated from Twin Falls High School in 1991 and Idaho State University in Pocatello in 1996. Shortly before his 21st birthday, in 1994 Startin was elected president of Idaho Young Democrats and served a two-year term on the Idaho Democratic Party executive committee.

Steve Appleton (born 1960) is the CEO of Micron Technology, based in Boise, Idaho. He was a nationally ranked tennis player while studying at Boise State University. A 1996 BusinessWeek article says Appleton broke his right wrist - and quickly learned how to play using his left hand. Appleton started at Micron immediately after graduation in 1982 - working the graveyard shift in production.

Gerald Louis Kramer (born January 23, 1936 at Jordan, Montana) is a former professional American football player (and author), best remembered for his 11-year NFL career with the Green Bay Packers as an offensive lineman. As a 6'3", 250 lb. right guard, #64 was an integral part of the famous "Packer Sweep", which featured both guards pulling out from their normal positions and lead-blocking for the running back going around the end.

McClure graduated from the Navy Program at the University of Idaho-Southern Branch (now Idaho State University) in 1943.
