    Mitchell Johnson (born August 11, 1984) is an American murderer. Johnson (13 years old during the attack) along with middle school classmate Andrew Golden (then 11) ambushed teachers and fellow students in the backyard of Westside Middle School during the Jonesboro massacre in Jonesboro, Arkansas on March 24, 1998, killing five and wounding ten people. Their crime occurred during the rash of schoolyard shooting culminating with the Columbine High School massacre

  3. Andrew Golden

    Andrew Golden (born May 25, 1986) was, at age 11, a gunman in the March 24, 1998 Jonesboro, Arkansas school shooting. Golden and his co-defendant Mitchell Johnson took more lives than any other except Eric Harris and Dylan Klebold who committed the Columbine High School massacre the following year, and Seung-Hui Cho of the Virginia Tech massacre. Ironically those who knew the two youths before do not remember them as being very close.

  4. Julia Butterfly Hill

    Julia Butterfly Hill (born 18 February, 1974) is an American activist and environmentalist. Hill is best known for living in a 180-foot-tall, 600-year-old California Redwood tree for 738 days between 10 December, 1997 and 18 December, 1999. Hill lived barefoot in the tree, named "Luna", to prevent loggers of the Pacific Lumber Company from cutting it down. Hill lived in a small 4-by-6-foot shelter that she had built with help of other volunteers.

    Wesley Cook Bentley (born September 4, 1978) is an American film actor. Bentley was born in Jonesboro, Arkansas to Cherie and David Bentley, both of whom are Methodist ministers. He has three brothers, Philip, an employee of former President Jimmy Carter, and Jamey, a youth minister at Trinity United Methodist Church in Little Rock, AR, who are older, and Patrick, a film maker, who is younger. Bentley grew up in Mountain Home and later in Sherwood.

Since 1973, Ring has challenged thousands of people with his signature message - "I have cerebral palsy... What's your problem?" He currently resides in Nashville, Tennessee with his wife and four children.

He also appeared in a supporting role in "The Name of the Game", a series featuring a rotating leading cast including Tony Franciosa, Gene Barry, and Robert Stack.

    Jon C. Olsen (born April 25, 1969 in Jonesboro, Arkansas) is a former freestyle swimmer from the United States, who was highly successful as a member of the US relay teams in the 1990s. Olsen won a total number of five Olympic medals, including four golds. They were collected at the 1992 and the 1996 Summer Olympics. During his career Olsen was trained by former freestyle sprinter Jonty Skinner. Olsen swam collegiately for University of Alabama.
