Glenn Hughes (born in Cannock, Staffordshire, England on August 21, 1952) is a bassist and vocalist well-known as the lead vocalist for Black Sabbath during the mid 1980s, as well as playing Bass and performing vocals for the Mk. III & IV line-ups of Deep Purple.
- Richard Gosling
Richard Gosling (born 1974) is famous for being the winner of Britain's Strongest Man contest in 2003. He currently lives in Cannock, England. Gosling was seriously injured in August 2001 when he was working as a doorman at Silks nightclub, Mill Street, Cannock. He was slashed across the neck and needed a transfusion of four pints of blood. His attacker was recently given a life sentence for wounding with intent to cause grievous bodily harm.

Andy Thompson is an English footballer who began his career with West Bromwich Albion, before moving to rivals Wolverhampton Wanderers with Steve Bull in 1986 for a combined fee of £65,000. 'Thommo' was a fans favourite, well known for his speed and penalty taking, and at just 5'5" was very short for a defender. He went on to play 376 league games for Wolves, scoring 43 goals before moving on a free transfer to Tranmere.
