1. Irene Morgan

    Irene Morgan (b. 1917) was an important predecessor to Rosa Parks in the successful fight to overturn segregationist laws in the United States. Like the more famous Parks, but 11 years earlier, in 1944, the 27-year-old Morgan was arrested and jailed for refusing to give up her seat on an interstate Greyhound bus to a white person. In July 1944, Morgan was a 27-year-old mother of two, living in Gloucester County, Virginia.

    Edward M. Strait, born June 23, 1930, was an American labor leader, known for having been President of the Amalgamated Council of Greyhound Local Unions, representing more than 9,300 employees, and head of the Amalgmated Transit Union's bargaining unit during the strike beginning March 2, 1990, and ending in April 1993. As Council President, Strait discussed the terms of all possible negotations with the 16 local union presidents.

    I am a retired lady that has lots of hobbies. I have had several operations on my neck, back, knees and ankles. I'm limited to things I can do so my interests are at home. I have two daughters, one grandson, two granddaughters from my youngest daughters husband, one great-granddaughter and two great-grandsons, one of the great-greatsons is from one of my younger daughters husband. I have two sister who I stay in contact.

    Originally from El Paso, currently living in San Antonio. Work for Greyhound (not a driver). Married to Vanesa, have two kids, George III (12) and Jackie (9). Graduated high school and then joined the Air Force was there for 4 years then went back to El Paso. Worked in El Paso for 3 years then moved to Dallas to work for Greyhound. I've been with Greyhound for about 9 years now. I've worked in Dallas (twice), Phoenix, El Paso and now currently in San Antonio.
