    Lawrence Harvey Brown (born September 14, 1940 in Brooklyn, New York, United States) was a coach in the National Basketball Association. He has been a college and professional basketball coach since 1975. He has won over 1,000 professional games in the ABA and the NBA and is the only coach in NBA history to lead seven different teams to the playoffs. He is 1,285-853 in his career.

  5. Dick Versace

    Dick Versace (born April 16 1940 in Fort Bragg, North Carolina) is a former basketball coach and National Basketball Association executive. He is also the first person of Puerto Rican descent to have coached an NBA team. His parents were Colonel Humbert Joseph Versace and Marie Teresa Rios, a famed Puerto Rican author. The 1960s television sitcom, "The Flying Nun" was based on one of her books. He has coached both at the collegiate level and in the NBA.

  6. Larry Staverman

    Larry Joseph Staverman (born October 11 1936 in Newport, Kentucky - died July, 2007) was an American professional basketball player and coach. A 6'7" forward from Thomas More College, Staverman was drafted in the 9th round of the 1958 NBA Draft by the Cincinnati Royals. He had a five-year career as a player in the NBA, with the Royals, the Chicago Zephyrs/Baltimore Bullets, and the Detroit Pistons.

    Robert G. Hill (born November 24, 1948) is an American basketball coach. He has coached in the National Collegiate Athletic Association, National Basketball Association, and Italian league. Most recently, he was head coach of the NBA's Seattle SuperSonics from 2006 to 2007.

  8. Jack Ramsay

    Dr. John T. Ramsay (born February 21, 1925 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, United States) is an American former professional basketball coach in the National Basketball Association. After coaching in the high school and minor-league ranks for the early postwar years, he became head coach at his alma mater, Saint Joseph's College, in 1955. In his first season, Ramsay would lead the Hawks to their first Big 5 crown and their first-ever postseason berth (in the NIT).

  10. Bobby Leonard

    William Robert "Slick" Leonard (born July 17 1932, in Terre Haute, Indiana) is a former professional basketball player and coach. A 6'3" 185-lb guard, Leonard played collegiately at Indiana University, and was selected with the 1st pick of the 2nd round of the 1954 NBA Draft. He spent most of his 7-year playing with the Lakers (four years in Minneapolis, and one year in Los Angeles), followed by two years with the Chicago Packers/Zephyrs).

  11. Jack McKinney

    Jack McKinney is a former college and professional basketball coach. He has served as head coach for three NBA teams--the Los Angeles Lakers, the Indiana Pacers, and the Kansas City Kings. In addition, he served as an assistant for the Milwaukee Bucks and the Portland Trail Blazers. McKinney's term as head coach of the Lakers lasted for only 14 games because he suffered a near-fatal head injury in a bicycle accident in late 1979.
