Three years down, who knows how many more to go? Such is life in the PhD program in school psychology at URI. I'm still living like I have nothing to do though....outdoorsy stuff (hiking, camping, biking, kayaking), sleeping in, reading for fun, drinking and dining around town, hanging out with friends. If I don't have schoolwork (yeah, right) or am not traipsing around outdoors, I also love catching live music, cooking, and trying new microbrews.

- Michael Wallerstein
I was born and raised in St.Louis, MO. I'd like to think that it makes me "middle of the road" in most areas, but I've learned that the Midwest is only in the middle of the country. The views here are as lop-sided as you could imagine. I grew up in a fairly open and accepting family, but the world ... not so nice a place. I, on the other hand, am an easy-going live and let live sort of guy. I love my family, my friends, and my pets.
