1. Alton Brown

    Alton Brown is an American food personality, cinematographer, author, and actor. He is the creator and host of the Food Network television show "Good Eats", the miniseries "Feasting on Asphalt" and the main commentator on "Iron Chef America". Brown is also the author of several cooking how-to books and a regular contributor to "Bon Appétit" and "Men’s Journal" magazines.

  2. Cat Cora

    Cat Cora 's culinary aspirations began at an early age, and by 15, she had developed a business plan for her own restaurant.   3. Masaharu Morimoto

    Masaharu Morimoto is a well-known Japanese chef, best-known as the third (and last) Iron Chef Japanese on the TV cooking show "Iron Chef", and an Iron Chef on its spinoff, "Iron Chef America". Morimoto's costume on "Iron Chef" is silver with red trim and a picture on the back of Japanese and American flags tied together in a sheaf, while on "Iron Chef America" he dons the standard blue Iron Chef outfit with white trim.

    Anne W. Burrell is an American celebrity chef and instructor at the Institute of Culinary Education in New York City. Burrell appears as one of Iron Chef Mario Batali's assistants in the American television spin-off series Iron Chef America. Burrell is a graduate of the Culinary Institute of America and has studied at the Italian Culinary Institute for Foreigners and in various restaurants in Italy.

    Jeffrey Steingarten is an American lawyer and culinary critic/columnist. He is a regular columnist for "Vogue" magazine. He has also written for "Slate". His 1997 book of food-related essays, "The Man Who Ate Everything", is a Julia Child Book Award winner and was also a James Beard Book Award finalist. In 2002, Steingarten published a second collection of essays entitled "It Must've Been Something I Ate".

  9. Kevin Brauch

    Kevin Jeffery Brauch (born 1969 in Toronto), "celebrity bartender," is host of the show "The Thirsty Traveler" on the Fine Living Network (originally on the Food Network) and currently is the floor reporter for "Iron Chef America" on the Food Network. Born and raised in Toronto, Canada, Brauch worked as a bartender for seven years early in his career while working his way through the radio and television program at Ryerson University.

  10. Takeshi Kaga

    Takeshi Kaga is a well known stage and movie actor in Japan, and is probably best known internationally for his portrayal of Chairman Kaga in the Japanese television show "Iron Chef" produced by Fuji TV. His birth name is Shigekatsu Katsuda (勝田 薫且 "Katsuda Shigekatsu"). He changed his name because he thought it was too Japanese. Kaga was born on October 12, 1950 in the city of Kanazawa in Ishikawa Prefecture, Japan.

    Wylie Dufresne is the chef and owner of wd~50 restaurant in Manhattan. Dufresne is a disciple of Spanish chef Ferran Adria and a leading American proponent of molecular gastronomy, the movement to introduce new techniques and sciences in the preparation and delivery of food. Born in 1970 in Providence, Rhode Island, USA, Dufresne is a graduate of the French Culinary Institute in New York. In 1992, Wylie completed a B.A. in philosophy at Colby College in Waterville, Maine.

    Tom Douglas is an American chef, restaurateur, and writer who won the 1994 James Beard Award for Best Northwest Chef. He has helped to define Northwest cuisine starting with his first restaurant called Dahlia Lounge, which opened in 1989. This was followed by Etta's Seafood and Palace Kitchen, which was nominated for Best New Restaurant by the James Beard Foundation in 1996. More recently he opened a Greek restaurant, Lola, and a pizzeria named Serious Pie.

    Susur Lee (b. 1958) is a celebrated chef based in Toronto, Ontario. He was born in Hong Kong, the youngest of four children. He served his culinary apprenticeship at Hong Kong's renowned Peninsula Hotel. He immigrated to Canada in 1978, where he worked his way to executive chef status at a number of restaurants. Lee currently owns two restaurants in Toronto, Susur, and Lee, located side-by-side at 601 and 603 King St. West. His eclectic style is described as fusion cuisine.

    Homaro Cantu, inventor, entrepreneur, chef, and leader in the field of molecular gastronomy operates the Cantu Designs Firm in Chicago, Illinois, USA. His restaurant, Moto Restaurant, is famous for creating sushi using a Canon i560 inkjet printer. Rather than using conventional inkjet cartridges, he creates cartridges that are filled with organic, edible "inks." He also has other patents pending around various food delivery systems.

    Joel E. McHale (born November 20, 1971 in Seattle, Washington) is an American actor and host of "The Soup" on E! Entertainment Television.
