Toby Hall (born October 21, 1975 in Tacoma, Washington) is a major league catcher for the Chicago White Sox. Hall attended El Dorado High School in Placerville, California where he earned All-State honors. The first time he played catcher was in his sophomore year at American River College. Schmoll graduated from the University of Maryland, College Park. He previously pitched for the Los Angeles Dodgers. On January 4, 2006, the Dodgers traded Schmoll and Duaner Sanchez to the Mets for Jae Seo and Tim Hamulack.
