    Ruth Taylor (10 January 1961 - 18 February 2006) was a Canadian poet, editor and college professor. Born in Lachine, Quebec and raised in Pincourt, Quebec, she attended John Abbott College, McGill University, and Concordia University. Taylor was the author of three collections of poetry: "The Drawing Board" (1988); "Dragon Papers" (1994), a finalist for the A. M. Klein Prize for Poetry; and "Comet Wine" (2007), published posthumously.

  4. Trevor W. Payne

    Trevor Winston Payne CC, (1948-present) is a Canadian musician and member of the Order of Canada (1996). He was born in Black Rock, Barbados, on the 21 December, 1948. He became a Canadian citizen in 1982, the country he moved to in 1958 at the age of 10. He and his family landed in the city of Montreal where he still resides today. During the 1960's he was a member of the pop group Trevor Payne and the Triangle, the group played soul music and rhythm and blues.
