  1. Ben Lindsey

    Benjamin Barr Lindsey (November 25, 1869 - March 26, 1943) was an American judge and social reformer, born in Jackson, Tennessee. He was educated in the public schools at Jackson and at Notre Dame, Indiana. His father died when he was 18, leaving him the sole support of his mother and her three younger children. He obtained employment in a real-estate office in Denver, Colorado, where he studied law in his spare time. In 1894, he entered the practice of law in Denver.

    Rosemary Mulligan (born July 8, 1941) is an American politician of the Republican Party. Mulligan was first elected to the Illinois House of Representatives in 1992. On January 8 2003 Rep. Mulligan was sworn in for her sixth term as state representative. In her 12 years in the Illinois House, she has become a leader on state budget issues (particularly human service appropriations), family issues, health care, and early childhood education.

    Adolphine Fletcher Terry, (1882 - 1976), was an American political and social activist in the state of Arkansas. She was primarily responsible for reopening the Little Rock, Arkansas public school system and bringing to a close the Little Rock Crisis of 1958. Adolphine Fletcher Terry was born in Little Rock, Arkansas in 1882 to a socially prominent family. She was the sister of Pulitzer Prize winning poet John Gould Fletcher and the daughter of a Confederate officer.

  5. John P. Balharrie

    John Paul Balharrie was mayor of Ottawa from 1925 to 1927. He was born in Ottawa in 1883 and began work in his family's bakery. Balharrie is said to have made his fortune in real estate. He was first elected to city council in 1918. As mayor, Balharrie welcomed Charles Lindbergh to the city after his solo trans-Atlantic flight. After his term as mayor, he served as judge in the juvenile court.

She also coordinated the partnership's Cultivating Neighborhoods initiative, which enhances the landscapes of contiguous front yards in targeted neighborhoods in Springfield. Karen graduated from Wittenberg University in 1969 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in history.

During his career, he served five years as Juvenile Court Judge for the Vigo Circuit Court.     Charles A. Bentley, Jr . Mr. Bentley has had a longstanding interest in medical issues. He attended Auburn University on a track scholarship as a sprinter and worked as a student trainer in the athletic training room during football and basketball seasons under the legendary head trainer at Auburn, Kenny Howard, who was Athletic Trainer for the U.S. Olympic Team in 1972 and 1976. Mr. Bentley's track coach was Mel Rosen, one of the foremost authorities on sprints and short relays.

Prior to being elected Judge, Judge Janzen had been an Assistant District Attorney in Jefferson Parish since 1982. As a prosecutor, Judge Janzen served as an assistant in the Juvenile Court from 1983 to 1988, where she prosecuted thousands of Child Abuse, Delinquency and Child Support Cases.
