- Bernie Casey
Bernard Terry Casey (born June 8, 1939 in Wyco, West Virginia) was an American Football player during the 1960s who later became an actor. Some years later, in a piece for NFL Films, he expressed his disillusionment with the NFL and professional sports in general, feeling like his creativity and individuality were thwarted by conservative elements in the league and ownership hierarchy. He does not look back fondly on his pro football experience.

I'm a master of aikido, kenpo, kendo, kempo, muay thai, wu shu, karate, capoeira, kung fu, hapkido, jiu-jitsu and jeet kune do. When I exhibit them all simultaneously, I'm basically unstoppable. I'd take over the world but I'm too lazy.

Physically, I am average height with a larger build...but not a fatass. I am part Filipino, Irish and Russian...which means absoutely nothing. I am a theater geek, but not in performance (I get enough drama as it is) more so in technical theater. I love to sit around in an intimate group of 5-10 people and discuss philosophy, religion, and art and their connection with sex, while consuming massive amounts of beer.

I take it day by day. Trying to figure out what's to do in this local area without having to travel up north and spending a gazillion dollars on tolls. I HATE TOLLS!

I've lived (i.e. a few months or more) in 7 completely different places (ranging from Italy to Colorado to Thailand) in the seven years since I've graduated college. For better or for worse (I haven't decided yet) I'm a bit of a vagabond. It's definitely broadened my cultural and culinary (!) horizons. Who knows if I'll ever tire of it - I hope not! I certainly have the travel bug and get pretty anxious when I'm chained to an office/library/computer for too long.

I am easy going, like to play sports. I am hilarious, ask anyone. Always lookin' for a good poker game. Movies is a huge hobby, I have seen so many movies there is nothing to rent at blockbuster. School is suck a bore when your stuck indoors!!!! Yeah I changed my major from being a cop to most likely do Graphic Design or Business, and then take the Real Estate Exam and possibly sell cribs.

I am on the "Tommy Boy Plan" at Clark University, my fourth college. This time around, I am a studio art major. I like it, and I think I am actually going to finish up this time. I mostly do photography, and you can see my photos at bridgetmkane dot blogspot dot com. I also like writing, shopping, movies, and television, and I work with children part time while I am in school.

We are trying to join all the dorks on Friendster together. Are you tired of seeing weird groups like "Hot Guys from Montana" or "Cute Girls Who Eat Rice Cakes"? Do you yearn for a group that acknowledges the inherent coolness in dorks? I like to juggle kittens...I don't hurt 'em tho....I only use dead ones! Sometimes when i can't sleep I like to sing soft little songs to myself about the positive influence "big name" Talk-Radio has had on all of us. When I'm not shadow-boxing with my bonsai trees, I often head down to the cement pond and shoot my spear gun at the unhealthy people.

I am a nerd. I always have been. Throughout my entire life I've been stepped on, pushed around, teased. And why? Because I'm smart? Because I'm different? Well, I'm here on behalf of other nerds to say that nerd persecution ends right here, because there are a lot more of us than there are of you!
