Tomie DePaola b. September 15, 1934, is a U.S. author and illustrator of many children's picture books, including the "Strega Nona" and "Meet the Barkers" series. Angela Alioto (b. San Francisco, California, October 20, 1949) is an attorney, politician, and a member of the Democratic Party. She is a member of one of the most well-known political families in San Francisco: She was on the San Francisco Board of Supervisors from 1988 to 1997. Her father was Joseph L. Alioto, the former mayor of San Francisco. Her niece, Michela Alioto-Pier, is currently on the Board of Supervisors.

Judith Belfiori , MPH, MA , is the Director of Planning and Evaluation. As part of FHOP's 5 year cooperative agreement with the California Department of Health Services Maternal, Child, and Adolescent Health Branch (MCAH), Ms. Belfiori has developed guidelines and provided capacity-building training and tools to assist California's 61 local jurisdictions with needs assessment, problem analysis, planning and evaluation of programs serving women children, adolescents and their families.

Preston Cook , Founder and Partner of Argonaut Investments. Preston provides senior oversight of all Argonaut operations and is additionally responsible for asset management of all manufactured housing communities/RV parks in the Argonaut portfolio. Prior to Argonaut, Preston worked as a real estate broker at TRI Commercial Brokerage in San Francisco for 15 years and completed over $185 million in sale and lease transactions, and received the annual Top Producer award multiple times.

Angela served as Board President from January 1993 to January 1995. As President, Angela served as Vice-Chair of the Board's Finance Committee. After Angela's term as Board President expired, she served as the Chair of two Board Committees: the Health, Public Safety and Environment Committee and the Select Committee on Municipal Public Power, the committee she created as President. On January 8, 1997, Angela left the Board of Supervisors due to term limits.

Margaret L. Taylor Margaret L. Taylor has served on our board of directors since April 2000. Ms. Taylor has served as President of PeopleSoft Investments, Inc., a subsidiary of PeopleSoft, Inc., a provider of enterprise application software, since December 1999, as managing partner of B3Ventures, an investment management firm, since November 1999, and as President of Nevada Pacific Development Corp., a consulting services firm, from 2000 to 2003.

Ms. Elouise Westbrook is known for her tireless effort to bring quality health care services to the residents of City of San Francisco. Ms. Westbrook was born on April 20, 1915 in Gatesville, Texas. She moved to San Francisco by way of Waco, Texas in the 1940s, making the South of Market community her home.

Christina's communications career spans more than 20 years, divided among work in the health care profession, the public sector and as an independent practitioner. Currently she is the communications manager with the Sacramento Metropolitan Air Quality Management District, where she joined the staff earlier this year. Previously, she worked as a assistant general manager for marketing and communications for Sacramento's Regional Transit District.

Mimi Sheiner Lecturer, Graphic Design Mimi Sheiner is a lecturer in the Department of Design and Industry where she teaches Introduction to Graphic Design. She teaches a similar course at the University of San Francisco and has developed an Outreach program there for senior design students to produce print projects for non-profit organizations.

FRAN SANTAGUIDA, Lead Teacher , was born and raised in Ohio and attended Kent State University. After a short stint in Portland, Oregon, she moved to San Francisco where she graduated from Lone Mountain College and the Louise Salinger Academy of Design. She worked in fashion and textile design while pursuing a degree in botany at San Francisco State.

Chung Hoang Chuong is currently on the faculty in Asian American Studies at the City College of San Francisco. As one of the early immigrants from Vietnam and seeing from up close the changes within the Vietnamese American community, he was part of the Sixties generation with which he closely identifies. He obtained his MFA in photography at Lone Mountain College and began teaching Vietnamese American Studies in 1981 at the University of California, Berkeley.

Barbara Hazard lives in Berkeley, Ca. She grew up near New York City on Long Island and lived in many Cities of the United States. As a child she wrote and illustrated stories and it seems like she never stopped. After her three children grew up, she finished her college education at the Art Department of the University of Illinois, Chicago, Illinois and then went on to get her Master's Degree in Art Therapy at Lone Mountain College (now USF), in San Francisco.
