- Michael Riffaterre
Michael or Michel Riffaterre was an influential French literary critic and theorist. He pursued a generally structuralist approach. He is well known in particular for his book "Semiotics of Poetry", and the concepts of hypogram and syllepsis. He was born in Bourganeuf, in the Limousin region of France. After receiving the concours général prize in French literature he went on to study at the University of Lyon. - Maria Liston

Caroline Barron Caroline is back at Kings College London finishing an MA in Classics. The main focus of her work is on two modules that combine to make a very interesting project. They are Mystery Cults in the Graeco-Roman Worlds and The Late Roman City. Her choice to take both modules was massively influenced by her time with Context; she reports that it's absolutely down to her experiences over the last year that she has developed such an interest in the cityscape. - Clifford Broeniman
Dr. Clifford Broeniman has taught Greek and Latin at the Governor School since August of 1997. Originally from Wisconsin, he studied Greek and Latin at the University of Wisconsin at Madison and graduated with a B.A. in Classics in 1983. During the summer of 1982, he studied Greek Archaeology in Greece at the American School of Classical Studies in Athens. - Piers Whitehead
Piers Whitehead VaxGen, Vice President, Corporate and Business Development Piers Whitehead is currently Vice President of Corporate and Business Development at Vaxgen. In this position he has been deeply involved in the $877.5 millions Bioshield contract Vaxgen was awarded in November 2004 to supply 75 million doses of anthrax vaccine for civilian defense. He was formerly the vice president and head of Mercer Management Consulting’s San Francisco office. - Sharada Price

She recently completed an MA in Classics at the University of Melbourne, where she will shortly be commencing a PhD. Before joining the Company, Simon worked for more than seven years at Bloomberg LP where he was responsible for HR operations across Europe, the Middle East and Africa. Pam Clarke is Head of School at Trevor Day School, a N-12 independent school in New York City. Previously, Pam has held the same position at St. Paul Academy and Summit School in St. Paul, Minnesota and The Masters School in Dobbs Ferry, New York. Pam's educational credentials include a M. Ed. in counseling and consulting psychology from Harvard University, an M.A. in Classics from Yale, and a B.A. from Vassar in Ancient Greek. - Holly Lorencz
Holly Lorencz received her B.A. in History from the University of Regina, her B.A. in Classics from the University of Calgary, and her M.A. in Classics from Queen's University. She currently teaches in both the History and the Classics Departments. Until she came to Burroughs in 2001, she spent a great deal of her time inhabiting the various provinces of Canada.
