    Mark Edward Smith (born 5 March 1957) is the lead singer, lyricist, frontman, and sole consistent member of The Fall, a renowned and idiosyncratic offshoot from the UK post-punk popular music scene.

  2. Mark "wiff" Smith

    Mark Smith, nicknamed "Wiff," was the drummer for British gothic rock group Play Dead from 1980 to January 1986. When Play Dead broke up, Mark was in The Beastmaster Generals with ex-Play Deadsinger Rob Hickson and ex-Play Dead guitarist Steve Green. The Beastmaster Generals only recorded a few demos that were never released into the world. He always sported a rather large, shaggy, and blonde spiderweb-like hair style. As of 2006, Wiff is the tour manager for The Pretenders.

    Mark Smith (b. October 24, 1977, Edmonton, Alberta) is an ice hockey centre for the NHL's San Jose Sharks. He was selected by the San Jose Sharks in the 9th round, 219th overall, in the 1997 NHL Entry Draft. Smith's trademark (on and off the ice) is his constantly changing hair color. Smith is also the guitarist and lead singer for the Bay Area band, The Vinyl Trees, featured on Smith's own record label Lunar Records.

    Mark W. Smith (1968-), a trial lawyer member of the Bar of the United States Supreme Court. He wrote the "Official Handbook of the Vast Right-Wing Conspiracy". His latest book is "Disrobed: The New Battle Plan to Break the Left's Stranglehold on the Courts". Graduating from New York University in 1995, Smith currently serves as a trial lawyer in private practice in New York City.

    Mark D. Smith is the Iowa State Representative from the 43rd District. He has served in the Iowa House of Representatives since 2000. He received his BS from Graceland College and his MSW from the University of Iowa. He is employed by the Substance Abuse Treatment Unit of Central Iowa (SATUCI) as the Director of Special Projects and is an adjunct instructor of Social Work for the University of Iowa.

    Mark Smith is an auto racing driver, in the 2006 British Touring Car Championship for the In-Front team in an Alfa Romeo 156. Their preparations were hampered pre-season, when a gearbox which was supposed to come ready-to-run was supplied in kit form and not until after the first race weekend. As a result, the team did the first race with an old-fashioned H-pattern box, and skipped round 2 completely. They never scored a top 10 finish, and did not return in 2007.

    Mark Smith (c. 1950 -) was a pioneer in radio-controlled model aviation. The son of Rod Smith, an early inventor of R/C equipment, Mark began building hand-launch gliders in the 6th or 7th grade. In his teens he followed his father's footsteps into R/C gliders. He later went on to designing R/C gliders where his 100-inch-wingspan "Windfree" was a best-seller for decades.
