When I'm not a romantic idealist I'm a deadpan cynic, a skeptic with a big heart. In friends, I definitely go for quality over quantity. The same holds true in dating (can't say the same for my early 20s, but old age has certainly tempered me). I'm currently in academic limbo hoping to "see the light" soon and continue on with grad school.

Well for starters my name is melissa and i live in florida. I have 2 sisters n 3 brothers..yeah i guess you could say its a pretty big bunch but your never bored when everyones together. I dont live with any of my siblings though. I live with my mom and step-dad for now until I can get a better job and find a place to move to.

Well let's see. I'm extremely passive. Not always the best quality, but hey, it lessens the amount of drama that's directly related to me. I try to avoid confronation whenever possible. I'm very easy going. Roll with the punches. It makes it so that I don't go all postal when we're playing games like Skatergories and I'm losing 70 to 140. A yummy mixed drink also aids in that, but we'll just keep that between us.

I like music (I'm getting a masters degree in vocal performance at the Eastman School of Music, so I would hope so!); languages, salsa dancing, running and jumping into puddles or oceans, hiking-day or night, church, good conversations, thrift stores, books that are so good I forget what time it is, staying up late, nostalgia, traveling to foreign countries and picking random restaurants, and graduating.

I am 28...eek! I am old! Anyways I work a few jobs...well 3 actually,and I go to school full time. Dont ask me what I do for fun,I havent figured that out yet. I dont know what I do with my spare time,and my hobbies...I dont have any I dont think,maybe I do,I dunno. Well, I'm not really a "myspace" type person, but I thought it might be a good way to reconnect with old classmates, friends, etc. I have a wonderful husband/family, a nice house (well, to me anyway - it's a fixer), and great friends. I enjoy anything that is relaxing & if I didn't have to work, I wouldn't. That doesn't mean I'm not motiviated, I just don't feel work is the most important thing in my life.

Happily married to a caring, wonderful, strong guy. We have been through so much together and the latest is that he has been through cancer and chemotherapy. We have 4 Great kids! T-man our oldest and first boy, is going in the fourth grade, reading and all that at the end of a fifth grade year. lets see, Im 33, a single mom living in hilliard. I mostly work 5-6 days a week so theres not a lot of time to get out and about, unless I play hookey(yea right). So when Im not in work I really enjoy getting out, but also sometimes I enjoy going down home and visiting family down home in the country. Ilooooooooove football.
