    Dave Baldwin was the head football coach of San Jose State University from 1997-2000. During his tenure, he had three straight wins over Stanford (including their rosebowl season of 1999). In 1997, SJSU upset No. 24 Air Force, (25-22) their first win over a ranked opponent since 1990. In 2000, SJSU beat ninth-ranked TCU (27-24) ending their 12 game winning streak.     Paul N. Dekker was an American and Canadian football player for the Michigan State Spartans and professionally for the Washington Redskins and the Hamilton Tiger-Cats. At Michigan State, Dekker was a starting end in his junior and senior years. The Spartans were runners-up for the 1951 National Championship in the Associated Press poll and National Champions in the undefeated 1952 season. He was selected by the Associated Press as a member of their All‑Western team.
