I am a crazy, fun loving girl. I currently work at publix as a Decorator and i am a mounted security officer for concerts and festivals in Atlanta and Tennessee. I am an animal lover. I have 4 dogs, 2 horses, 2 cats and a bunch of fish. I can not ever see myslef with out an animal. I just graduated from KSU back in May and I am going to start teaching in the fall. I am going to be teaching 6th grade math...most people will say i am crazy, but i love that age group.

I read a lot. I am often loud and opinionated. I make up ridiculous dances as an outlet for my mania. I love living in Western NC; these mountains are my big lumpy grandmas. I use semicolons appropriately and without fear. I want all people interested in or at risk of having babies to read Taking Charge of Your Fertility by Toni Weschler. That book has changed my freaking life.

Recently liberated from my MA program (hurray!) and now working as a (once again) overworked, underappreciated public school teacher. I do have to say I do love working with these kids. Some of them are just plain amazing and won-der-ful students!

I've been exponentially freckling since birth and have decided to go with that. I dig: a great juke box, lying in hammocks, hard rain, corn in all applications, humility, Almond Joys, barefeet, and skinny white boys that have the ability to sing like James Brown. Its not so much that I want to meet people with these qualities as that I am interested in admiring them from afar. Everyone else: read statements below.

Life alternates mostly between teaching the kiddies, walking the dog, eating (food is a fabulous hobby), and studying as I work toward my MS in Counseling, with some play time thrown in every now and then, preferably near a body of water! Aiming to be back in Monteverde, Costa Rica, within the next few years but working to finish my degree first!

I like to approach life from the point of view of what would make the most interesting memoir fodder, so there's that. I recently turned 30 and am confident that this will be my decade. I have made a lot of positive changes in my life since the end of my late twenties, so that's a good start.

Could I get more contradictory? I'm not a party girl. I spent four years at college being a party girl; now, at 23, I'd rather spend time with my friends at a bar than being groped by strange guys at a dance club. I love the beach and I love traveling; if you're my friend, you're always my friend. I'm quiet and thoughtful and I never stay mad for long, but I love to go out and have a great time.

i am a girl. i work a lot. i watch tv and read books and magazines. i like to make things with food. my job is now more difficult and taxes my brain much more but mostly just my nerves or something like that. a lot of strange things happen daily and most days i try not to blurt things out like "fool" or "oh dear lord what have i gotten myself into?" but then it can be fun and rather entertaining learning about the weirdness of teenagers.

I am a pretty chill dude. I like my job teaching middle school students because it allows me to be both serious and totally goofy. I enjoy pretty much anything that is done outside: hiking, camping, running, skiing, golfing, skateboarding, frisbee and disc golf, hide and seek...you name it and ill play. I typically take life with a grain of salt, so it is hard to bring down my spirits and leads me on many adventures.

I've got warm eyes and an easy laugh. I can be a smart-ass or ultra-sensitive, depending on the moment, but I've got more compassion than I know what to do with. I can turn anything you say into a song -- and if you don't say anything, I'll probably be singing a random medley anyway. My interests are all over the board, but my current passions are swing dancing and swimming. I work with pre-pubescent whipper-snappers - and I love 'em.

Well, my life has been pretty boring so far, except for the fact that I got to go to Europe during Christmas vacation (I got to visit Amsterdam, London, Paris, and Berlin..see the picture of me in front of the Notre Dame! Sanctuary! Sanctuary!) All it consists of right now is school, sleep, homework, more school, more homework, even more school, even more homework, not enough sleep...you get the point. I'm going to UCSD right now to get my Masters in Education.

I love to travel, which I in 2004, went traveling around London and Scotland for 5 weeks. I am a 23 year old middle school special ed teacher in Philadelphia. I also go to grad school part time. I am usually busy as crap and have very little time to just sit back and do nothing. So when I can do that, I love it! I live with 2 friends and our mini-zoo (we each have a pet) and I really like it. I like just south of Center City Phila and really like the area a lot. Don't know how long I will be teaching, so who knows where next year will take me.
